A prominent Nollywood actress who debuted in the 2005 TV series Shallow Waters and won the ‘Most Promising Act of the Year’ at the 9th Africa Movie Academy Awards, she shared her milestone on Instagram.

She posted: “Last week, I graduated from U.S. Navy boot camp as a Sailor and took the oath as a citizen of the United States. Nigeria raised me. America challenged me. Akinremi twins.

Omolade (Kehinde) and Omotayo (Taiwo) Akinremi represented Nigeria in the 400m hurdles in the 1990s. One of them later ed the the US Air Force and competed for them at the World Military Games in the 2000s.
