2 medium freezers
4 ACs (1hp each, inverter)
4 fans

How much do I need to install a solar needed to power these.. please experts.

I'm not a pro but here's what I got quoted at some point. This is for powering one 1.5 AC with other regular loads. I have a separate inverter to keep.my fridge and freezer running 24/7/365

1 unit 6kw/48V Hybrid: 950k
4 units 10kwH Li-ion Batt: 9.8m

Your budget should be 10m and above to run all these efficiently especially because of those 4ACs

With solar, noise and fume pollution can be reduced drastically. If everybody buy into it there will be total elimination of both noise and fume pollution.

Is your battery brand Star Plus or Super Speed?

You are right, but maintenance, though it's still cheaper.

I fill my inverter batteries with inverter(Distilled) water every month and it cost me N5000 to N10,000 monthly.

I don't know if there's anything I can do to reduce such.

Any advice from the professionals here will help. Thanks

One of the things I invested in back 4 years ago and will forever be grateful to my neighbor then.. he was the one that forced me to patronize his business even tho I was reluctant then. But today I still pay him dues indirectly for giving me this opportunity. I did a full 10 s and installations for less than 500k
Today you should be spending 3m

Am using sunking power play pro in my sitting room to power my TV, home theatre, decorder, Wi-Fi router, fan, charge laptop and charge my phones, and i also have sunking home 500X in my bed room that powers my pedestal fan and all the bulb in d whole house, sometimes i also use it to charge my phone, honestly for the past 1yr I've never regretted it for once

Ditch your Tubular battery and embrace Lifepo4 batteries. With the latter, you don't necessarily need that monthly expenses on maintenance.

You would have to ditch a lot of properties for it to serve you.
You need low energy solar friendly freezers, iron and other appliances. China has solutions for everything though.

With lithium battery, you don’t need such. It’s two times durable, more efficient , lighter and no need for this kind of maintenance.

Solar will carry AC fan with ease but AC fans consumes more power than DC fans

Also, ac fans can makes some human noise while ok inverter

That humming sound goes with Modified sine wave inverters not Pure sine wave inverters.

Pure sine wave inverters give out clean steady power with stable voltage than national grid.

Solar can't carry AC fans?

What of for charging phone, laptop and bulb only? What's the cost please
Even though I live alone in a mini flat, I did an i stallation with a total cost of 650k and it is serving me pretty fairly than EEDC has ever done, I regret not installing it earlier.

And I suppose it can serve you for the purpose of charging those devices.

Sell the tubular batteries and get sealed lead-acid batteries. A good one will give you at least 4-5 years. No emissions too.

If you can not afford to install solar powered inverter of 7 to 10kva, you might not be able to use your usual home appliances that requires more energy to power. You would have to ration appliances usage or else you damaged the inverter system. You would switch off some appliances when you need to use some appliances with high energy demand and that is not convenient. To avoid this, you would have to switch to low energy variants of those appliances to be on a safe side.

I have 5kva inverter with 5kwh lithium battery.

Everything in my house except washing machine, AC's and oven are connected to it. i even use my microwave with it for short times - like 5mins to warm food or electric kettle to boil water for tea, which is just few minutes.

But things that are on always are fridge, freezer, water dispenser. lights, fan and TV are used as required. Basically I dont think twice ing anything....I just use as I need it and it lasts me about 10hours, so roughly I consume about 0.5kwh every hour.

it cost N2.8mln. I installed this in October 2024. No s.

You would still need to ditch the house appliances that have high energy consumption as long as your house is metered.

No matter how huge then, cant be compared to now. Besides everything is now so expensive I can't just churn out cash to do a 10 s installation currently.

Guessing you use Tubular batteries.
Try lithium. Been using Lithium phosphate batteries now for 3 years. I have not even touched them once.

Am fortunate to buy a solar s that start charges on daylight not direct sunlight oo @ 8am serious charging starts, even after a rainy day by 10am my batteries has reach 13.6v
I just need to charge my lead acid batteries to Lifepo4 it's expensive if only I can see pay small small option.
My gen is gathering dust hasn't bought fuel for over two years now.

Please what is the least capacity of Lithium batteries I can get and how much does it go for?

I have a 3.5KVA, 2 Tubular batteries of 220AH, 4 400Watts solar s, 60A Charge Controller.

Even though the whole setup is serving me for now, I am thinking of buying more solar s, changing the 3.5KVA to 5KVA and buying additional batteries just to power my 1.5hp inverter AC.

My issue now is even if I change the inver to 5KVA and buy additional s, will it make sense buying 2 more tubular batteries or selling the 2 tubular batteries I am currently using and adding money to buy Lithium battery?

All I use the setup to power is
1 Standing inverter fridge
1 TV
2 Fans (1 AC and 1 DC)
1 Laptop
1 Blender
1 Home theater
1 1.5HP Inverter AC (My 3.5KVA can't even power it right now)
