The colleagues and/or the policemen who refused to provide details know a thing or two about the guy's death..

The police that brought the remains should have processed the location where his remains was discovered as a crime scene. The place should have been cordoned off for the forensics team to do their job, as clues that would serve as lead would be at the crime scene.

This is Nigeria, where mõnkeyz are enrolled in the police.

Police saw a corpse, assuming they aren't the ones who made him a corpse, they did not search for clues, report the homicide, inform the press and start an investigation immediately. Instead, they dumped the corpse in a morgue and even the attendants also accepted it, no queries! The family also took the corpse, possibly paid for it's release and buried it!

Then we have people saying still like, maybe he's a cultist because of his place of origin?

pls, if your work place is far from your house, kindly seek accommodation close to where you work, imagine the stress of going from igando to ikota in ajah everyday and going back at late hour in the night, my deepest condolence to his family. On the other hand, how can the morgue receive corpse without proper documentation from the police, many things are just wrong in this country, so police couldn't give information of where they found the body and also investigate what must have led to his death, Nigeria is a cursed country, they don't value live in this part of the world.

Human lives have become so worthless in Nigeria.
Why would police officers bring a corpse to the mortuary without any form of documentation.
How is the family expected to find closure regarding the cause of death and possibly seek justice.
