Emeskhalifa: do not mind some people, & I believe this must have taken over a year to hit the 500,000 deliveries and not something that happened in few months. 1 Like |

Omo, over £1m in sales. That is some good business. There is nothing as good as daily sales.

Keep exposing yourself. You go tink say na oyinbo land you dey. When your yam sprouts, you eat it with your hands covering your mouth. It's a wise adage. You're not impressing anyone by exposing yourself to the public. Keep your fortune to yourself. It's very risky in our clime. Enough said

Built2last: the same lack of ideolgy from politicians has permeated to both the producer and consumer and the entire value chain in between... Businesses are about aggrandizement rather than legacy Nigeria has a lot to learn.... 1 Like |

People eating and buying takeout is quadruple that amount. Revenue will be in billions annually. She made most fast food outlets redundant with her strategy. Not an easy feat 1 Like |

I did the small math. 500,000 orders in 2 - 3year. I assume that both business runs from Sunday to Sunday. And to 2 - 3 year = 2 and a half year. (365 days*2)+183 days= 913 days. 500,000/913 days = 547/day orders. The question is: Does this food vendor have multiple outlets in several states? Because receiving over 500 orders a day from a single platform is a lot. |

Congratulations to her. My own online restaurant is not giving me joy at all. I have over 10, 000 followers on Facebook but most order I get are outside my location, sometimes outside Lagos. I'm on the island VGC, Ajah , Sangotedo axis. Someone should please help me out here. What am I not doing right and what should I do please?😭😭😭 1 Like |

Built2last:Railway died because of government involvement. Government has no business getting involved in bossiness, same way Nigeria airways died. All they need do is regulate. The UK railway you mentioned is being run by private firms. Sweet sensation, tastee fried chicken, Ekenedilichukwu, young shall grow, honeyeell flour, punch newspapers, the guardian, etc are still very much around, decades after establishing them. I grew up seeing their names. Whereas, others in similar industries have gone. There's one thing which keeps them going...discipline. There was so much corruption at Mr bigg's. At some point, they were issuing franchise anyhow to their relatives. Instead of the franchisee to be patronising UAC foods for snacks and recipe as agreed, they'd be cutting corners and be baking pies themselves, they'd reduce the quality standards set by UAC. Customers left cos of bad taste of their pies. Discipline comes in different forms. Look at Sunny Ade, Bright Chimezie, etc. They're still active. You've got to have 10s of millions to invite them on stage. They don't beg for business. Those who had multiple wives amongst them actually married them. They sing to entertain and not to make money. How many of those artistes who didn't last a decade actually toed the duos' path? They have baby mamas everywhere with multiple side chicks. They divorce with ease. That's indiscipline. They sing mainly to make money and not to entertain. They're not creative. Go to the US and see how creative their likes are. They own fashion brands and thriving businesses. They don't release albums anyhow cos they want to remain relevant for long. They spend money on their work before releasing it. Most Hollywood movies aren't welcome by Netflix cos the quality is not enticing. We all love watching foreign movies cos they're entertaining, not primarily to enrich themselves. They spent millions of dollars to achieve the quality they wanted viewers to see. Here, they release albums every year, no creativity.it's all about making money. Today, tuface should be bragging of a leading recording/producing firm in africa but nothing. His money is hugely spent on frivolities. Is he still in vogue? You can tell. PSquare are fighting over money, even with their brother. Their era is gone believe me. Why getting family involved in managing your music in the first place? That's indiscipline. Even Walton family didn't make that mistake. They hired Chinese, Indians and Mexicans into key positions. If anyone knows wizkids, Davido, they should tell them, any engagement without discipline won't last. Today's best cars are relics tomorrow. Only discipline (be it financial or attitudinal) will take you far. Everyone should watch Mai Deribe's abandoned cars. It's gone viral for days. Those benz aren't in vogue anymore but relics of a lost age. His oil and gas empire is almost dead. Enough said 11 Likes 4 Shares |

I hear people say sponsored post or PR stunt in the comment section. I would love to know the average age range of Nairaland s. Someone is cashing out big time on a very soft business and they call it PR and sponsored post ![]() Can you imagine the ignorance being peddled on a public forum. Lagos State remains the biggest market for any consumable in Africa and not Nigeria alone. If you know the number of White collar employees that "eat out" daily and cash in on that, you will not doubt this data. It's an app based service and no need for alteration. To get this number is seamless and can be retrieved back end. Congratulations on the milestone Chowdeck and please don't encourage people use your platform to peddle hard drugs on delivery. Good stuff ! An app based solution doesn't need manipulation, the data and stats are glaring and can be verified. 10 Likes |
