You've given it protection now Give it food, give it water and set it free over time

The only protection it needs is from the person who caged it.

Modification(The date the parrot came was 9th May 2025 not 9th April,2025)

N.b:My story is very real.

Lovelytyme:
On the 9th Thursday,April 2025 when I was just washing my clothes outside and jejeli minding my business, that something remarkable happened. Before I go into detail of what happened, it should be understood that where I reside is a very well civilized environment so I don't expect such occurrence to arise
A large bird from nowhere entered into the age of my house. It was as though the bird was chased by something. I never waited as i took hold of the mop I saw around to pin it down to avoid it from flying away.
I searched the whole house for whatever I could use to cage it. Actually, I noticed the bird was unique and that was why I decided to keep it. At last I was able to find a breakable plate racket whereby I quickly emptied the plates so that I could keep the bird safe in there. I succeeded and right now I can successfully celebrate the eighth day with my African grey parrot. It has started talking self. Our love for each other has no bound. Thanks for coming into my life from nowhere.

I am feeding it very well with fruits like mango, tomatoes, carrot and anything the internet suggest I give it
McLizbae: 4:40pm On May 16
Your very right.
IamAsiri:
Probably someone else's parrot.
Lovelytyme: 4:41pm On May 16
McLizbae:
Your very right.

It has never been trained before from my observation. It came directly from the forest. No doubt

QuinQ:
How will you like to be caged if you had wings - instead of being free to roam as you wish? Teach it to always come back for food then set it free

I am really taking care of the bird. I make sure I buy it fruits almost every day. It is well fed. How will you feel if you find such a precious thing. I realized it cost about $2000 in the US. I will sell it soon by God's grace
McLizbae: 4:45pm On May 16
It's now yours no arguments about that. But, another way is that it is still under domestication where it escaped from.
Lovelytyme:

Are u gonna eat it...

I will still sell it off by God's grace. I have started training it in English. I want a foreign buyer.

I make sure it is well fed almost everyday with fruits and water. It is quite a friendly bird but I will still sell it off

What will you do if you were in my shoes. Something that cost about $2500 in the USA. I will find a foreign buyer bro. I can't be poor for life

That's an African Grey Parrot, and it may be sick hence it lost bearing and landed in your corridor. See you see psittacosis.

It is very strong and look ok even after I have gotten hold of it. The only help I can offer it is to sell it off. I am looking for a foreign buyer

That is an African Red Tailed Parrot. I once had that bird back in my university days before he was birdnapped. His name was Max
This parrot has one of the highest vocabulary for a parrot. It can mimic almost any sound.
This parrot species cost a fortune to buy

Parrot is now a "strange" bird?... Indeed, Nollywood has done more harm than good

It was strange to me at first because I am used to the coloured types of parrot. This one is grey

From my observation, it has never been trained by anyone before. I taught it the first sentence which is "how are you". It shows that the bird comes directly from the forest

Some people don't have time to be talking to birds o; they just see them as pets or a form of decoration. I have seen a man who put like 3 African parrots in a cage and those parrots were non-responsive. I was pretty disappointed that day grin.

I want to buy an iron cage for it. I temporarily place it in the racket because I have no place for it

Some Daddy children will soon come and start telling you that somebody sent the bird to destroy your life. Don't believe them.

That bird cost $2500 when I searched the internet in the US. I am not listening to anyone. Imagine if I find a foreign buyer. Poverty would run away with speed of light
