It’s amazing seeing realme making it to top 5 in a short period of time.
It’s durability and affordability is a catch for Nigerians.

realme making it to top 5 already? That’s promising. I won’t be surprised to see them hit 3rd by end of the year

It’s clear that the Nigerian smartphone landscape is evolving even with the new brands coming into nigeria like realme with a mix of local innovation and global competition. Can’t wait to see how this plays out in the next few quarters.

It's interesting to see HMS Global at 1% market share; the brand might have potential for growth with strategic marketing and product offerings tailored to Nigerian consumers

Transsion used to be on 80% share, now dropped to 56%.
A decline as people now prefer stronger and reputable brands sold in China. Xiaomi and realme is sold in china while transsion is not

It is very interesting that new brands are at the top of the rank. It shows that the other brands are either not giving reasonable features for the price ranges or their phones are generally overpriced.

Funny how I am just learning about the Transision brand but I have seen some stuffs on realme and they must have good and quality products seeing them as number 4 when they just debuted in Nigeria October last year

Why is Transsion market share dropping badly? Are they no longer satisfying customers? Xiaomi is a brand that is shockingly gaining customers even with high priced phones. Samsung would have done better if not that the S25 ultra was way to expensive. They have a lot of customers for the A Series instead. realme is already in top 5 with just 2 phones? Everybody sit up o. For HMD, I've not really seen people buy their products but facts don't lie.

No iPhone on the list! Majority of those using iPhone in Nigeria are buying used ones.
