You prefer the country to be in debt as far as you buy fuel for 200 naira. A very bad citizen who prefers to eat his tomorrow today

It's two years already.
When will the 2moro come?
If things dont become easy by 2027, people will vote out Tinubu.
4yrs is enough to show us that he knows what he is doing.
I spend 20k on electricity every month, with just fan, AC, fridge and three bulbs.
I know how hard it is to live.

Borrow tens of billions from the World Bank.., then repay couple of millions to the IMF for the agbadorian propaganda machine, (which you will re-borrow in a fortnight from all sorta of places) and voila; you are the best istration since Lee Kuan Yew.. That's according to Tilimgbu School of Escobar Economics..

I thought there is something called "borrowing from Peter to pay Paul"

When Peter Obi becomes the president, he will take fuel and dollar back to what it was in 1999. Just be patient till then.

The U.S. government subsidizes a wide range of programs and sectors to citizens, promote economic stability, and encourage certain behaviors or outcomes. Major areas include:

1. Healthcare

Medicare: Health insurance for seniors (65+) and certain disabled individuals.

Medicaid: Health coverage for low-income individuals and families.

Affordable Care Act (ACA) subsidies: Helps people afford health insurance on the marketplace.

2. Food Assistance

Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP): Commonly known as food stamps.

WIC (Women, Infants, and Children): Nutritional for pregnant women and young children.

School Lunch and Breakfast Programs: Free or reduced-cost meals for students.

3. Housing

Section 8 Housing Vouchers: Helps low-income families afford rent in the private market.

Public Housing: Government-owned housing for low-income individuals.

Homeless assistance programs: Grants to combat homelessness.

4. Education

Federal Student Loans and Grants: Pell Grants and subsidized loans for college students.

Head Start: Early childhood education for low-income families.

K–12 funding: Title I funds for schools with high percentages of low-income students.

5. Energy and Utilities

Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP): Helps with heating and cooling bills.

Subsidies for renewable energy: Tax credits and grants for solar, wind, etc.

Fossil fuel subsidies: Though controversial, oil and gas industries also receive subsidies.

6. Agriculture

Farm subsidies: for crop insurance, price s, and direct payments to farmers.

7. Transportation

Public transit subsidies: Federal grants to cities for buses, subways, etc.

Highway construction and maintenance: Funded through gas taxes and federal grants.

8. Unemployment and Income

Unemployment insurance: Payments for workers who lose jobs through no fault of their own.

Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) and Child Tax Credit: Refundable credits for low- to moderate-income workers.

9. Business and Industry

Small Business istration (SBA) loans and grants

R & D tax credits: Especially in tech, biotech, and defense sectors.

What and what are currently subsidised in Nigeria today?

Unfortunately, some people are addicted to negativity.

For every good news, they look for every bad thing to negate it.

i guess you must have heard that subsidy on petroleum has been removed right? If that is correct, then it's either you heard it but didn't understand it or something else, on that note, he can't return fuel price but he can reduce it by strengthening the naira against dollar and to do that you have work on many things and one of such things is keeping your debt(especially external debts) at a reasonable figure

This is the excuse that they always use that the" next person to come in won't do miracles" but Nigeria is full of talented people and Tinubu is not the best leader we can produce. We have people who can turn things around more quickly, who can more transparent, not corrupt and also able to deal with corruption. We haven't had a good leader in this country apart from Muritala Mohammed and Tunde Idiagbon.
