This your bolded caveat further persuades me of your good understanding of the biz, amongst of course, other analysts like crownprince2017 who equally have their own valid viewpoints.

Many tend to overlook or forget the place of rubber production and exportation in the Okomu/PRESCO success story.
we are all learning. Just hope they have balls to hold on when bets are down 50%. 2019 Olein which refined Palm oil was trading at discount in Malaysia and Indonesia, OKOMUOIL drop from around N80 to N44 by 2019, we added more ni and no shaking even okomu md Hafar was worried has stock plenty no customer and palm oil was being dump here by importers, no industry is recession proof reason to have some bonds quality short-term bonds and cash. When people dey craze you are liquid.

Some of us don't need validation to buy or sell, we moved based on secret information many wouldn't be willing to bet on.

when I mentioned VFD a year ago, it has returned over 150%, this is still far from what was seen before committing y funds.

Sugar is also warming up, some of us are just used to not following the crowd, I still continue to buy sugar till today.

TARGET TECHNICAL ANALYSIS WEEKEND UPDATE FOR 3 May NIGERIA MARKET
For outstanding performances in the medium timeframe we should keep these stocks on our watchlist : NB, _ _ _ _, _ _ _ , MTNN, ___ __, etc one of the stocks here should hit an homerun all things being equal, we will continue to update.

There is still caveat in the market. Go only with the strong stocks, as the economy may still! continue in this wobbly style as oil will not go back to the $72 area for a long time, OPEC just approved increase in production quota, effect of which is to make oil cheaper to attract demand.

For the past week consumer index still led, followed by the meristem Growth index.

Now moving to the new week, _ _ _, MTNN are among our stocks for the day that we will like to start with on Monday.

Let us have a nice weekend.

Some people are looking for the addresses of farms owned by a publicly traded company. Lol, isn’t the address public? Don’t they hold AGMs like everyone else? Have they ever attended one? They keep asking for the location—okay, we’ll tell them when the time is right.

What is the effect of crashing crude oil on Nigerian Stock Market, given the role of oil in the economy?

Bull, Bear or Neutral?

There are professors of economics and top notch market analysts here.
Time to speak up.
Portfolios and networths could be in danger.

National budget is typicallyly benchmarked on $75/barrel oil price.
Oil is right now at around $60 and, I'm sure, headed down.

Govt is the biggest spender in the economy, and right now is already in deficit budget.

So what next?

Is it foreign investors that will come and mop cheap stocks when liquidity dries up in the market?
Or will Govt resort to borrowing to fund the budget and keep the economy bouyant until our precious oil recovers?

The bolded is true, the OPEC+ has agreed to increase output which will drastically reduce oil price. We wait to see what will happen, but I will definitely avoid any oil company on NSE for now.

I believed the market will still remain flat, the worst case scenario. because reduction in oil price will bring about reduction in cost of production for companies as well as increase in purchasing power.

Will country borrow, I don't think they would, based on other available sources of income which has increased in value like solid minerals as well as increased in tax etc.
