Who has performed better as Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy between Mr. Wale Edun and Ngozi Okonjo- Iweala (current DG WTO)?

NB: Edun is still in office but two years is enough to judge his performance

I don't know which mod moved this thread to front page! You could not even compare with kemi Adeosun or Zainab Ahmed that have concluded their tenures with NOI respectively.

Unless you just want to make jest of the current minister

Pathetic!!!!!

Okonjo iweala is good finance minster.
But not withstanding dispensation matters.
Under okonjo iweala dollars was 100 naira
Oil was bumming
Population was 120million.
Edun is managing scarce resources
Iweala managed overflow
And she managed it badly.
If it were not for Obasanjo, she would have failed just like she did with Jonathan by borrowing money to pay workers.

If she were good,Obasanjo would not remove her as finance minister.

Is it a joke or what. Who is Wale to be compared with Okonjo . Whoever brought this trend should shot it down. Wale is just a kindergarten finance minister

Whoever brought this topic of comparism is stupid and foolish. How can one compare d two of them. Let us take example, wen Ngosi was the minister den, d economics of nigerian is growing faster and faster, then look at our current economics handle by the present minister

They will hail okonjo someone that is borrowing to pay salaries 😁😁 . Nigeria was not in anyway better then all na scope even in 1990s millions of Nigerians has been hungry since time immemorial.

I ed growing up my dad was hiding for his landlord in 1996 and I asked myself now how much for a room that my dad could not pay and you telling me Nigeria is good then many times we can’t even afford Rodo pepper to eat we buy Dry pepper to eat and cut big onion inside serve as protein.

From my school to house is 10 naira bus even though it now 150 or 200 now I don’t know but as at then hundreds of students can’t afford it they will trek thier life out to/fro most times with empty stomach. Memories of how Nigeria was in 1990s Dey my head steady.

Am a travel consultant when Lagos - Europe // US tickets was below 100k how many Nigerians can afford it. Even now that is ranging from 800k-3m they afford it more.

When local tickets was 5-15k how many Nigerians enter plane.

Never will I justify all those rubbish politicians and the elites coz they are all heartless set of people but saying anyone is better is like a joke to me.

Nigerians have always been on survival mode except if you are opportune to be among the Elites.

Please this is unfair to Ngozi Okonjo Iweala, the comparison is very unfair to this woman of excellence and one of the brightest gift to Africa.

Like her name is , she is a gift from God.

And Wale is a gift from where

Not now but I still rate Oga Edun higher a little because of the wonder he has been able to perform in this very, very difficult period.

Okonjo started borrowing money to pay workers in 2014.
Even with the humongous revenue Nigeria made.
you're obviously a kid born in 2000 and was prolly 14 years in 2014, NOI headed OBJ's economic team that had over $12bn debt written off and made sure dollar was stable. Poor were also able to afford basic things of life without much stress compared to what we have today.
Even under GEJ she left our economy as the biggest in Africa with high GDP, Wale destroyed all that in just two years and you have the temerity to rate such level of incompetence.
