I believe you use solar then... Abeg, your solar dey carry pumping machine and ACs?

My Pumping machine is connected to his own System I can't pump when there's no Sun or Daylight so it's connected directly to the and doesn't use any Backup..

But the Pumping Machine I'm using is a DC pumping machine which consume lesser energy

A five star hotel don't spend 100 million on light? Lmaooo... Some of you are funny an average 4 bedroom duplex if they want to use all appliances would spend over 2 million on light bill ( talking from personal experience) ...

Wait are you really comparing ASOROCK to a 5 star hotel? Lmaooo...

Aso rock is bigger than most universities...

Is the whole Aso rock occupied by only the FG? I used to think some people actually have their houses there... I may be wrong sha

But if I'm correct, that means this amount should be for only the FG occupied buildings there, not including the privately occupied buildings

Thanks for your reply... what about ACs, and I asked a question about rainy season

How will someone in,say the southeast, use it, considering there can be times when rain will fall for 4/5 days straight without sunlight

For the pumping machine connected directly, is it something similar to the freezer that comes with its own ?

Thanks in advance

Finally I have been vindicated... I have been saying it here that national grid power is expensive and any industry depending on it is not serious

Nigerians are too poor for constant national grid electricity

Electricity is not top 10 problem of the manufacturing sector because we have access to electricity in Nigeria

Nigerians mistake access to electricity to 24/7 national grid electricity

NEPA is just being dubious and greedy. They are still highly inefficient with all these bills. In most cases, bills they charge is not what is on record.

I don't know about the Freezer that uses is own once the freezer has Battery backup then is different....

The DC machine won't be linked to the general that supply the house...

Whoever is setting up the system for you will get a different for the Pumping machine and also there's always something like a timer once the sees a Daylight or Sun it will on automatically...

Now to how to survive during the raining season make sure your is Mono or so. Once there's a Daylight my starts charging not as fast as Sun but I can use more power with it even if sun fails to shine through out the day. Even if it rains for days all I just need is daylight but not as strong as a Sun..

So during this period I cut down my electricity usage..

And the AC I had to abandon my AC for now to Fan. But I was advised to get a Low watt AC all this modern one with Inverter In it that don't consume much... Buh for now I'm managing my OX Fan and Ceiling fan....

I hope the solar s used were locally produced?
That’s my only issue
The solar power technology is something the government can invest it’s citizen in
Especially in a country with terrible power supply, The government can go to different institutions, look for top class students and send them on a one year scholarship to major companies that operate solar technology and let them come back and invest that knowledge in the country
We should be producing solar s locally!

But they want ordinary man and businesses to pay for band A,

If i may ask o, whats the average bill of a hotel compared to the Aso rock villa?

What kind of machinery are they using to consume that type of power?

Nobody is stopping you or the hotel from getting solar s, The federal govt is leading by example, by going solar, if you like follow them
Viccur(m): 10:57pm On Apr 25
Nigeria is extremely dysfunctional. What exactly is consuming power that amounts to 47billion yearly. Are they building lightening and thunder there? I don't understand why they can't once and for all channel these billions and make the power sector effective

They don’t force anyone. My area is on Band A but the landlord meets as ask them to remove us. This affects people like me because I was not part of meeting but majority carry the vote. We’re now in band C and never have light today, before, we have at least 23hrs stable light but the money is much

.do not mind them..they are the ones that increased the electricity tariffs...now do not want to pay.
But want Nigerians to be paying the high electricity tariffs and electricity bills..it's a pity

This is the last straw that will break the camels back. The national grid will eventually be abandoned and the decentralization of electricity generation and supply in Nigeria will come to an end. The north should wake up from their slumber because the rossy days are coming to an end. Regional government will do more good than harm in the context of our nation.

But they want common man to pay Adelabu banditry bills. Very unfortunate some some people will still defend this. Some people's electricity bills, more than house rents. grin grin grin angry angry
True as Nigerians love to live in big man's house and we know how to waste electricity.

A bachelor is living in 3 bed?
What is he doing there. If it's estimated billing, he will be billed according to 3 bed standard and how frequent that area receives electricity.

Electricity is costly all over the world.

There is no private building in aso rock. That's why after each presidency tenure, all his workers pack out and new people come in.

In UK, NHS spend more than 6hundred million yearly for electricity. You know how much that is in naira?
Constant electricity isn't cheap.

Nothing stops them from getting it.

That should have been part of their yearly budget.
Did they present it as part of expenditure for any year or we always talk for talking sake

You want to see the electricity bill of national hospital abuja or any of the teaching hospitals in Nigeria?

They run in millions

All the hq of ministries and parastatals in Abuja spend millions in electricity every year. The pro lem with Nigeria is that we are so poor we think that steady electricity comes cheap.

Maybe, we need to hear this, Nigeria is a very poor country. Somethings we want to have, we can't because we are too poor to afford them. Water supply is not cheap. That's why govt don't look that way and nature blessed us to dig our own water supply.
Fuel isn't cheap.

Education isn't cheap. Govt subsidies is what we have been enjoying and we conclude they are cheap.

Blame your politicians but not those things.

The power consumption in Aso rock can never gup #47billion yearly, otherwise they should analyse and publish how the money is being spent. Factories where heavy duty engines are being used do not pay that much, let alone a place filled with residential buildings. Corruption is the only thing playing here. Padded budgets to be specific.
