HeavenlyBang:...but 12-volts system are often costly. Plus You need thicker cables. Would suggest if going for 12-volts system, to ensure the inverter is at least a Dual volt type (i.e having for both 12v , 24v, 48v) |

jstemmanex:Normally, SMS brand is a low quality and unreliable brand. Funny enough, a single company has like 3 names. Have forgotten but those in the business should know what I am talking about. SMS charge controller, inverter, etc; is in same league as that battery brand named Lithium Deep Cycle Battery. 1 Like |

Pls which other brand(s) for 2/2.5kva inverter would you suggest 12/24v I have asked valtech, he doesn't have bassdow: |
bassdow: 5:59pm On Apr 24 |
jstemmanex:Depends on your budget. Good ones are pricey. What I would say you look around the forum, bring up a couple of names, with the price you comfortable with, and we choose for you. Mind you, imitations dey plenty Oooo. Also, that it's expensive, doesn't mean it's the best. Just saying sha |

jstemmanex: Then add 50k and buy SRNE's 1.5kw inverter. You don't have a lot of options in the 12v category, since most brands would rather just make 24v hybrids at over 2kw. 1 Like |

bassdow: Cable cost here is really just battery to inverter, which is usually like 3 yards at most. Regular 6mm cable from PV to inverter is unchanged, same as cable for inverter to outlet. 3 Likes |

Hv not been following your question.. Let me ehter from here... What are their load like... From what the above perosn gave you, its good but lately all this 12v hybrid inverter are noting to write home abt.. Just hv that at the back of your mind.. If only you can get the sern 12v system... Apart from that, other are noting to write home abt... Sako, welion, sms, and those at that level... If your load is max fan, with your budget, will advice you go for serchet inverter.. 24v own and powmr cc the 2 are under ₦200k maybe ₦190k something the cworth battery the oga bise said 12200 own at ₦555k.. Then jinko 555w x2 ₦300k...wire and the rest you should be fine with 1. Something million.. Darey00: 1 Like |

jstemmanex: Sako doesn't have a good reputation here. Also, some of these brands have overrated inverters, so be careful with that. For example, SMS's 2kva is actually rated at 1.6kw, and then you don't even know if it'll do up to that in the real world. At least with the SRNE you know you're actually getting 1.5kw. If your load is such an issue, you may have to go for a 24v system. Just means you'll have to spend an extra 100k each on the inverter and battery. 2 Likes |

Do you have a for the SRNE 1.5kva? I have an SMS 1KVA 12V. My biggest problem currently is that I want to buy a bigger battery. However, SMS's maximum charging current is 40a. Most 280Ah batteries I have seen have about 50a as the recommended charging current. I am not yet ready to purchase a 24v system (Inverter and battery ) HeavenlyBang: |

jstemmanex: Would suggest going for at least 3KVa inverter judging by your load requirements. Especially if most of them would be used concurrently. Also cost difference ain't that far. 1/2 HP pumping machine should be about 0.5HP. I do recommend at least 2KVA for a 0.75HP. reason is, should you buy an overrated inverter (e.g being 1.5KVa but d as 2.5KVa), you still would have room for such errors. Another reason is, you don't want to easily near the safe operating limit of your inverter, or have reason for upgrades too soon. |

Dam5reey1: ![]() I see no big deal here if they have a good after sales service. Not like one dude that bought a 30KW 240VDC inverter from China. First week after installation it got bad. He was told by the seller to return it to China for repairs ![]() 2 Likes |

Haykay2001: I was considering Welion 1.6kva, 12v hybrid inverter but now it's between the recommended SRNE 1.5kva hybrid inverter or 3kva sachet inverter+ powmr 60A cc. I plan to add one unit of 12v 100ah lithium battery from Powmr, there's a teardown video and it was said the cells are grade A, better than the cheaper C-worth. So SRNE hybrid over Sachet + 60A cc? I'll appreciate suggestions |

You no fit go wrong with srne my brother. And for the cworth battery, I actually dont fault them sah.. We all know how much a real capacity is.. 12100 for cworth is ₦177k.. Just imagine.... Hin they over cheap seriously... So who ever desires to go for that is actually getting what he paid for.. Inside the 177k,them buy cell, bms, iron casing, digital meter come package am well well.. Trust me hin worth am for perosn way no mind.. And for the powmr lifepo4 as well, hin worth am too... We are only getting what we paid for.... Kokatrends: 3 Likes |
