Tesla- another early beneficiary of the Trump istration. All said, with Musk being so close to power, would be surprised he drives more government contracts and subsidies towards his company.

"I've been on the record many times saying that I believe lower tariffs are generally a good idea for prosperity, but this decision is fundamentally up to the elected representative of the people, being the president of the United States," Musk said. "I'll continue to advocate for lower tariffs rather than higher tariffs, but that's all I can do."

By the way, I thought the Trump was going to fight Indians so other nations and the average American can enjoy what those migrants have been stealing (or development they have been preventing) .... it's worth getting updates on the state of that 'fight'

Hello guys, I would appreciate clarification on something.
I have a valid visa to Canada and a work permit that expires next year. However, entered Canada last year and stayed for about 5 days and since then, I have been in the UK to finish up with a program.

Would I still be able to re enter Canada?

A 'good deal' is relative.

What are his options?

Wait..what job provides accommodation and why would they do that? I'm suspicious if this is a real job
Is your friend in Nigeria?

Good step. This should likely result in an uplift in his standard of living

His pay would be dependent on the role and his experience

Wat role is the new job in?

Well unless ppl here have done such jobs then it might be best to ask ppl in Canada if that's good pay.

Pay is relative, none of us know where he is in CA or what his expenses or dependencies are.

What visa is he in Canada on? What's his plan for staying in Canada

I am unsure what the average pay for this role is but these days, you could easily confirm the pay for a role online. Online fora like Reddit is usually a good resource for things like this.

Also, worth noting that with most western nations, it's much easier to climb the ladder once one has local experience. This doesn't mean he should undercut himself but helps him understand with time, provided he has the right mindset, he'd become more indispensable and can go for the more desired roles.

Finally, one can manytimes negotiate pay in a sensible manner especially if there's good evidence in
All said, good he's thinking widely.

There's no issue here. Since your visa is valid and your work permit expires next year, you are good to go!

I think it depends on the type of the work permit. If it is an open work permit, you have absolutely nothing to worry about but if it is a closed one sponsored by an employer, you may be pulled to secondary.

Congratulations to the winner of the election. I hope they fix the economy, unemployment, and high cost of living, because many people in Canada are struggling to find decent jobs and are stuck in survival work long-term!
