If Iran is attacked first, nothing will happen. The agreement was very specific, it was silent on whether Russia will do anything to aid Iran, it is more reasonable to interpret the agreement as nothing will happen rather than inputting what was clearly and deliberately left out of the agreement.

"Defeat" is a subjective word with several definitions. Weapons and wars are not the only ways to defeat a rogue nation. Internal breakups also work and they work perfectly. Don't they? 😂😂

Secondly a nation which is approaching or going to face something like that definitely shows these signs and I don't think Russia is currently one of em. As long as you have a reasonable population compared to land size, your people are well feed that is, the price of food is easily affordable and your people have roof over their head and secure, you don't have to worry about an uprising. Yes some politician might want to cause trouble every now and then but they can easily be contained.

The last time I checked, internal strife or whatever are also tools used by the army to achieve whatever they want. Or are you saying the regime changes or deadly protests orchestrated by several intelligence agemcies are mere discontentment?

Secondly, that a nation will show signs is something I don't agree to. Do you the Arab uprisings? Apart from Libya that showed signs, there weren't signs in Tunisia, Egypt and the likes.

Thirdly, that people have roof over their head and affordable food does not mean there can't be an uprising. We are talking about a social engineering attack by an enemy force here where people are "deceived" and made to believe what exists or what doesn't.
