I am not saying it's a great salary...

It's fair.

But why do the guys above have to convert to dollar and pound like that's the currency spent in Nigeria!
Conversion is the latest 🤣 craze in Nigeria. Mention any amount then they will convert. There's an award for it. Next statement is "Nigeria is finished"

Makes even less sense when you consider that even after conversion, cost of living is different in each place. The converted sum does not buy in those places what the naira sum buys in Nigeria or vice versa.

Don't mind them. All of them wants to be saying they live on the island. From Ogudu GRA or Gbagada estate, it's just few minutes to Ikoyi or Marina and also close to the major offices in the mainland. I don't know why any sensible person will want to be suffering themselves and live far away in Ajah.

he worked hard to be a backend developer. Backend developers make dope money cos they are in high demand than front-end.

If you come be React or Flutter backend developer, you fit get remote job wey fit give you the least 50Million in a year.

bloody liar!people just come here and type rubbish. I have 2 kids, I live in ilorin, kwara state and with 200k I get everything we need including cereals, we still buy like 50k meat and pepper though. Hungry people living on garri will just come here and be typing rubbish. I'm a landlord and don't pay rent so I know nothing about that.if you choose to club and womanize that's your cup of tea. A family can feed well on 250k

Well, because bag of Rice costs 100K, add ingredients, provisions, medications, transportation, fees, NEPA, rent. LAWMA, DSTV, etc
so rice and those commodities you listed are sold in dollars in your village

A good salary starts from 1.5m+
Every other thing is management. Which is eventually gonna lead to poverty.

12/hr and 120/day. That's barely 3days wages in UK. He's right. It is small. But it looks big to any Nigerian graduate right now.

A professor at bar in a public university in Nigeria earns about that figure.

Majority of combined household incomes in the country is not even up to that yet parents still provide food, shelter, clothing, educate their kids, pay bills and cater for transportation and other household expenses.

The value of money is in the hands of the beholder.

Money that I will make one Sunday 13hrs is even more than this. Let me say one Saturday with NHS for 12 hrs is equals that pay

You guys should stop this stupid comparison!
How can you be comparing the pounds you are paid in the UK to the naira someone is getting in Nigeria?
Are you spending in naira there? How about your expenses that are also in pounds?

Very bad

This is wrong calculation.

It should be a year and not 6 yrs

550k x 12 equal 6.6m and that should buy a clean car
