Sigh... Just imagine telling an average Canadian, American, Russian, etc, that their President or Prime minister is "actively" governing them from another country.

South African or Senegalese president won't even try this nonsense.

This is how low APC has diminished Nigeria and Nigerians... Some of you even think it's normal.

Lol. Because they know that Nigerians have no say, because Nigeria's armed forces are protecting tenure of elected politicians instead of protecting the masses. If the masses rise up against any misrule in Nigeria, the armed forces shall slaughter the masses.

Abeg he should relax and enjoy himself, he can rule from anywhere he wishes, last last his son can cover for him in an acting capacity under advice from his mama.
It is what we deserve.

President Tinubu’s continued stay in Europe under the claim of “actively governing” raises a serious and uncomfortable question: Do we truly have leaders in this country?

Time and again, our so-called leaders show little belief in the very country they claim to serve. If they genuinely believed in Nigeria, why would they constantly run abroad—whether for healthcare, rest, or governance—while the country struggles under their watch? You don’t abandon a home you care about; you fix it.

And then we wonder why other nations treat Nigeria with contempt. The truth is simple: our leaders are our reflection to the world. So, when they operate with such disregard for the nation, how can we expect anyone else to respect us as Nigerian citizens—“Tinubu citizens,” as some would say?

To those defending Tinubu, I ask sincerely: What exactly are you defending? Is it the lack of transparency? The absence of ability? The repeated neglect of public trust? This question has been asked many times, on many similar issues on this platform, and still—no concrete answer.

So again, from which perspective is your defense coming? Because if leadership is about running from the very place you’re meant to fix, then we’ve clearly redefined the meaning of service.

And to people like Onanuga and others who work tirelessly to polish and defend this sort of behavior, one has to ask: How do you manage with your conscience? Do you ever reflect on the cost of your words, on the millions suffering while you defend the indefensible? Or is loyalty to power now worth more than loyalty to truth?

Nigeria deserves better than this. We all do.

Rome wasn't built in a day na una dey talk since 2015... Yet the nation continues to deteriorate all round.

Rome wasn't built in day, yes... But, it was built within a timely and specific period of existence.

More importantly, Rome and every top civilization didn't deteriorate daily due to poor leadership and corruption.

I can recollect when the immediate past president was on seat, it was same thing and heaven didn't fall.
So, everyone calm down.

undecided

You have to decide.

On the other thread about the Boko Haram attacks, you called for decisive action. On this thread, you see nothing wrong with a head of state who is yet again outside the country when the place is on fire.

Your president has made 8 visits to the same country in less than 2 years since getting into office. Pause and reflect on that.

Getting bat out of Aso Rock in 2027 must be the goal for a number of reasons.

First, he has failed woefully in all parameters of governance. Nigeria is 'actively regressing' under him.

Second, he has lowered the bar of governance to ridiculous levels.

Third and probably the most important, his arrogance and those of his ers must not be rewarded. Allowing apc get away with its anything goes type of governance will be the ultimate undoing of Nigerians.

Buhari did it so why not the drug lord? Since we have decided to be foolish as a nation. Someday one slowpoke will vanish for a whole year or even probably die and these devils will tell us he can rule from the bottom of the ocean or even from the other realm. Imbeciles.

Over 2yrs Tinubu as being travelling what does he have to show, local businesses are dying everyday, counter productive policies and inconducive environment is that were foreign investor will come

Mad man found it necessary to declare SOE on River cos of political feud Buh wont deem it fit to address distressed state or declare SOE to curb the situation
