So, I thought about it and I think I made a mistake with the response to how long I've been with the school. I resumed Sept 2023 and I stated that on my DS-160 . What do you guys think I got wrong?

During the proccess when i got to enter MRV receipt, it told me my number was invalid, but somehow, my application from last year came up on my page and i was asked to reschedule. I picked a date and i have rescheduled. Now i want to reschedule my daughters appointment because we applied together. I ed Customer Service and they told me to use the create new button, but what im seeing is pending application request and cancel application. I am weary about clicking cancel application because i dont want my now scheduled appointment to be canceled. Please what do i do? has anyone experienced this. Please see screenshot attached

It seems you paid your MRV together, therefore as your date is activated so as others activated (pending appointment).

Click on pending appointment and continue with the booking for the next person. After finishing with the person you will see another pending appointment for the next person till you finish up for everyone (that is if my calculation is right).

NOTE. If it happens that the pending appointment is as a result of your toying with avits and you discover your information (after clicking pending appointment) instead of the information of your daughter's then you have to click cancel appointment before you will be able to view CREATE NEW (as attached). Good LucK.

You can arrive some days before or a week before, it all depends on you.

You’re not alone, my mum sent hers since 4th as well, no movement at all.
I think Lagos is just generally slow with processing. My mum’s last renewal was in Abuja, and it was fast. This Lagos one get as e be.

I am glad I am not the only one and I almost did with Abuja oo.. this Lagos sef!

Must have been a while ago.. because now they make sure to collect and confirm your BRP/resident permit/e visa before allowing you proceed to biometrics.

@ Dixoxoxo. Did yoh track and did not get a message saying application received. Or was he saying to you that there was no data available for your status? It’s important that you also submitted in Lagos yesterday and tracking today. It says application received already. I know someone submitted on Friday and yesterday he had said application received already.

What if i am married with husband in UK and working too

Husband is British or is Nigerian?
If Nigerian and you yourself are still on PSW as you mention- your chances are limited.
When I went they didn't ask me anything and approved for my whole family- I strongly believe that they predetermine to a large extent who to approve before you get there because I was asked nothing.
The refusals I saw was mainly those saying care work and PSW- it would be better if you have a job other than HCA or care worker as they feel immigrants in the UK are using it to cross over to the US to overstay.

its dicey, your being a fresh student and having limited travel history...with your schengen visa less than 6 months old..the VO could interpret that to mean you were trying to build a travel history for the usa. dubai visa and other african travel visas are irrelevant.
personally, i would advice you wait a year or 2 more...b4 applying for usa visa again ----

What documents does one need for travelling for graduation ceremony

Good evening all, pls if I need to change anything in my ds 160 (I submitted in March, but have not paid MRV), can I edit the existing DS160 before I make payment , will appreciate guidance pls.

By God's grace I got approved for US B1 VISA in Accra today. Thanks for sharing experiences. My transcript is below. Just 2 questions though......

You cannot edit an already submitted form.

But you can fill a new form and same details. Hoever, when booking appointment, just ensure to use the DS-160 form number of the form you eventually want to use for the application.

If you have already booked an appointment and have need to change the DS-160 form you want to use, you'll raise a service request about this on your AVITS profile and it will be done from the backend for you.
