Didn't really live up to the expectation of it's predecessor.

Kingdom 3: 6.5/10

Kingdom 4: Return of the Great General: 7.5/10

Now that’s how you take a bow. As always, the visuals were stunning, and the action sequences were masterfully choreographed, bringing ancient battlegrounds to life and making every confrontation feel raw and impactful. Hats off to the actor who played General Ohki (or Ouki) the man knows his onion. I especially appreciated how his journey blended strength with vulnerability, adding a layer of emotional depth that stands out in the entire tetralogy.

That said, the film isn’t without flaws. The pacing felt kinda uneven at times, with a few slow and repetitive scenes. Some of the dialogue also came off a bit forced or overly explained.

Still, those are minor issues in the grand scheme of things. Kingdom 4 confidently owns its identity, striking a bold balance between high-octane combat and heartfelt storytelling. Despite a few hiccups, it delivers a cinematic experience with both soul and spectacle.


Across the whole tetralogy/move series, I kept waiting for some of these deadweight characters to pull a dramatic seppuku, but nope, not a single one did. I guess the Chinese don't do the whole honorable exit thing like the Japanese. They just stick around, being useless with confidence.

This movie has better reviews than it's nonsensical plot would suggest.

I guess I can say that was moderately entertained. The performances were good enough and the director was straight-up showing off at some points. These two elements hard-carried the almost comically bad plot

Maybe but Chris Pratt name doesn't bring money nor the actors themselves - it's the franchise. I can almost guarantee a billion esp if the movie is actually good. It's a Jurassic movie - nostalgia bait plus children here lovers dinosaurs so children equals family equals money. That's the reason the Minecraft movie will hit 900m minimum

I watched "The North man recently." I only have to watch "Hereditary" and then I will have watched all Robert Eggers movies. I had to watch this movie twice since some parts were confusing but it's really great, I will give it a solid 8/10.

I watched "The North man recently." I only have to watch "Hereditary" and then I will have watched all Robert Eggers movies. I had to watch this movie twice since some parts were confusing but it's really great, I will give it a solid 8/10.

Hereditary isn't a Robert Eggers directed movie. It's from fellow horror auteur filmmaker — Ari Aster.

Robert Eggers also has The Witch, The Lighthouse and Nosferatu to complete his four-films directed filmography.

If you didn't see the trailer, you are an OG, you should be able to discern garb movies like this, without seeing the trailer sef, it totally reeked of it.

lol from conception sef, i knew it wasn't going to end well 😂...na agenda film normal and you could clearly see the crowd they were trying to please with it.

Again, 90% of the time, no serious movie goes straight to streaming, even if you see tier A actors in it, always be skeptical 🧐
