I had been trying to figure out what this whole strife was all about. Just this morning, I got this answer. Then I realized that it is not really about sharing allocation and positions. It is an ethnic supremacy battle.

As it stands I cannot blame Wike and his people for thinking this way. No landlord wants to become a tenant in his own house. Fubara will be the last ethnic minority to rule Rivers state. He blew a golden chance away too early. Wike did put his reputation and political goodwill on the line to hand power to Fubara against the advice of his kinsmen.

What Wike is doing now is redemption of image, recovery of political goodwill and electoral restitution. Tinubu understands this as well. That's why Ibas is dismantling everything Fubara put in place. It's a simple assignment. He is paving the way for his inevitable removal.

2027 election would round up the old cargo politicians in Nigeria. In 2031 All those Elrufai, Atiku, Kwankwaso from north must have been retired, voluntarily or by force.

As for doing the right thing, there are so many ways to do that. The first priority is dividends of democracy, followed by the grassroots politicians/mobilizers.

Wait for strategic political appointments from both states and the FG by early 2026. The real voters or perhaps majority of the voters are not online.

There are projects specifically delivered to some areas in Nigeria which are visible, southern Kaduna for example. Where the presidency is expecting the votes, take notes of some special projects going on there

It will have to be extended continually till the next election. There is no point of Fubara coming back to perpetrate his judicially pronounced despotism. He is unrepentant.

There’s nothing to resolve, except the criminal behavior the governor is being pushed to partake in. Sim Fubara was right to deny access to Rivers state treasury to Wike and, by extension, Tinubu. Nigerians should celebrate him for this stand. If there’s any doubt, just look at the condition Abia state found itself before Governor Alex Otti broke the curse of godfatherism in that location with good and visionary governance.
