I don't understand, security was beginning to improve until a few months ago.

And it seems to coincide with when they started this their political collation where one of them even had a freudian slip when he threatened southern Kaduna..

Government has to identify these sponsors who want to use insecurity to score political points and have them arrested
Security wasn’t improving anything. Don’t be silly.

You are a just hearing more of it now, and there are a lot more you’re still not hearing about.

I won’t be surprised if you are an agabadorian.

Hold tulumbu responsible, rather than looking for who to point fingers at.

Rubbish .

Now let's see if a pipeline is worth more than 40 human lives.

One liter of patrol is worth more than the whole middle belt. Herdsmen will wipe a whole community no news from any authority but go steal one liter of crude oil.. Army will rain fire.

It's more complex than you think bro. The ones who fight back are designated and treated as enemies of the state. These attacks have political, ethnic and business motives.

If Langtang didn't fight back, I'm sure they would have been under constant attack too, they fought back, and now bandits or whatever they call themselves are scared of attacking them. Why won't Bokkos and Bassa fight back?

What has the Governor done in this regard ? Has he taken the initiative?? Must everything be about the President ?
Mrexcell:

Very useless president a reasonable president would have at least declared a curfew in that area and sent troops there to enforse it to stop the killers that loves attacking at night.

To say it was not improving is to tell a lie. But I am not suprised, many of you guys were not happy that it was thten.

Now, let us for academic purposes agree that it was not, why is the resurgence or sudden media exposure happening when you guys started all these collation talks? Is there something you guys are hiding?

Hopefully, when the government starts clipping the wings of the sponsors, we will not hear talks of oppositions being targeted.

There was no time security improved, it just got less reported in the media.

Saudi Arabia sent Nigeria a list of terror financers, what did the APC government do with it?

Even this APC government used insecurity to oust Jonathan's government. the chibok girls case?

Propaganda doesn't run a country, APC has failed woefully

Someone who is a governor in the North should be questioned for all these killings .
He invited foreigners to come and grab our lands.

It seems like some lives are more important than others in this country

Imagine 47 lives just wasted because they were in the right place at the wrong time

No body summoned or quizzed for these death, no compensation paid , no threats issued , just another Monday in Nigeria

I don’t want to sound unempathetic, but the fathers and grandfathers of present day middle-beltans brought this on themselves and their future generations when they not only took part in the pogrom against easterners in the north in 1966, but also ed and ed the Hausa-Fulani and Yoruba to fight a people who were fighting for survival and chose to opt out of Nigeria rather than stay back and continue to be slaughtered in industrial numbers by the same animals still committing mass murder today! How do you, in all good conscience, expect others to empathise with you, and more importantly, help galvanise action against the murderous marauders!?

I find it perplexing…even slightly amusing when some wonder why there’s so much bloodshed in Nigeria. You normally find them wondering out loud ’na who do us this thing’! How can a country built on and sustained by injustice and the blood of innocents expect peace, harmony, security, development and justice! You reap what you sow!

Today, the forces who either by omission or commission brought about the insecurity we’re all facing, are the same forces that kidnapped Mazi Kanu and are still holding on to him even against a court ruling setting him free! Yet, hardly anyone is speaking up against this blatant injustice and denial of fundamental human rights! Mazi Kanu is one of a few who could have highlighted the current pogrom going on in the north and given traction and mileage to the tragedy in the international media space! ‘They came for my neighbour, and i didn’t say anything thinking i was safe….and when they came for me in the dead of night, there was no one to speak up for me or me to fight them off’!

What caused the death of innocent citizens like this? What are the cause of communal crisis? Land dispute? Resource control? This is definitely not herders clash.

They can't

If they dare repel the attack, Nigerian army will go after the plateau citizens. It's a terrible situation

If Fulani attack you and you make an attempt to fight back, the Nigeria security agent will go after you
They won't let the natives bear arms but won't recover arms, heavy ones at that, from this Fulani people.
The security agencies are definitely biased, they're complicit.

When Funke Olakurin, daughter of Afenifere leader, Pa Reuben Fasoranti was murdered instead of Bola Tinubu to make sure that the perpetrators were brought to book, he ended up making fun of the death of the young lady by turning everything into tribalism by showing his hates for Igbos.

Tinubu has never spoken against the deadly activities of Fulani herdsmen across the country

https://twitter.com/i/status/1150428613751320577

Mrs Olakunrin died of gunshot wounds in July 2019 after her vehicle was attacked by armed men, suspected to be marauding Fulani bandits whose violent activities had reached a frightening level across the southwest states.

Those arrested suspects include Lawal Mazaje, 40, from Felele area of Kogi State; Adamu Adamu, 50, from Jada area of Adamawa State; Mohammed Usman, 26, from Illela area of Sokoto State and Auwal Abubakar, 25, from Shinkafi area of Zamfara State....

However, the leader of the team, identified only as Tambaya, and three others are yet to be found.

Tambaya has been declared wanted by the police and he is said to be capable of communicating in Hausa, Fulfude and Pidgin English.
