It's okay for them if they choose not to the military but it will be unacceptable of them to talk down or denigrate those brave and gallant ones from other regions, who has been laying down their lives for the peace of the country.

How many chiefs of Army staff have they produced before now?

It's only in this useless Nigeria that people will be dealing with you and still they will ask you not to complain what a useless set of people is this God?

That's why no development because you are still believing and ing your useless leaders even if they kill you all, no change of mindset towards them.

Current navy chief is from Enugu. His name is Emmanuel Ikechukwu Ogalla.
Army chief Alexander Odeareduo Ogomudia was from South South. Andrew Azazi was also from the South South. Azubuike Ihejirika was from South East, Abia state. If they all had this your defeatist mindset, they'll not be there when the opportunity came.

Compare it with those from Yoruba land and the north and give a good judgement if it was the Yorubas they will not bring down this country with propaganda.

My problem with people like you is always asking people to swallow what you can never accept.

Most of you are dancing and singing over the State of emergency in rivers state today, please also dance the day it will happen in LAGOS or Ogun.

Those you are talking about are just working for their money,no body send them work.

They laid down their lives in their process of finding what they will eat with their family.

Of course, there's the Nigerian factor. We've seen cases where people are not qualified or disqualified, and people from other states who are "qualified" somehow fill up the slots.
Exactly, that was what I mean, regardless of how much interest applicants show, they will take whom they want, so him encouraging more people to apply is dead on arrival, as a matter of fact, it was because of how people are treated that resulted to the apathy, a youth whose dream was to fight for his country has been denied repeatedly but he hears in the news that Boko Haram terrorists who had shown hatred for the country and even destroyed life and properties has been forgiven and has ed the army. What is more demoralizing than that?

i thought you didn't care? You tell young igbos not to care, not to apply things, you play tribal supremacy and politics, then cry in the end about comparing with others. You do the maths and compare with the South West and South South before crying foul against others.
What can't others accept? About SOE, heaven didn't fall when there was SOE in Plateau or Ekiti. Why do you think people are dancing about it or it has to happen in Ogun or Lagos? What's your fixation on those states? If any state in any part of Nigeria has irresponsible leadership that doesn't allow governance to thrive, that erases the legislative, pockets the state Judiciary, removes Local government, and threatens the nation's economy, such state deserves a SOE whether Lagos, Ogun, Abia or Anambra or anywhere.

We don't want so carry your military and enjoy let's focus on our business and when they pay you salaries you will still come and meet us at the market for the prices.

What i noticed in my little experience is that igbos have no external enemies. Igbos are found, and live comfortably and thriving in every part of Nigeria. If they had enemies, they would not. People don't buy their lives from their enemies, do they? All over Nigeria, people buy food, medicine, spare parts and other life dependent goods from igbos and live with and marry igbos. On the other hand, igbos intentionally inject hatred for others in themselves. They are hostile to other tribes and religions in the SEast much more than others. Make marriage, and establishment by others extremely hard compared to other regions, have this needlessly irritating competition with others, especially the SWest, and wear a PTSD victimhood garb around. Seems the enemy of the igbos are the igbos.

The Nigerian factor should not create a defeatist mindset in a whole tribe. A defeatist mindset doesn't solve anything. Again, like i said, if the current Navy chief from Enugu had a defeatist mindset, he would not be there when the opportunity was presented. Nobody will call him from the farm, bank, shop or factory to come and head the military. The more people that come in, the harder it becomes for those factors to keep thriving.
i a time a couple of years ago when majority of Nigerian Christians had the mindset of having nothing to do with politics. Thank God, that has changed much. Hoping the elders and elites in the SEast can do same plainly without victimhood.

Who are this we, because as far as the world knows, igbo elites and elders complain bitterly. In fact, that's the chief force driving the scam agitation in the South East. And 99.9% of SEast parents have complained in indoctrination to their children about Nigeria. Please stop hiding your head in the sand.
