GraciousWords: Please I have 1 more question, the RR also said that my pay stub looks generated. The company I worked for does not actually use pay stub and when I asked for 1, they just did a word template for me that had the breakdown of my monthly pay and deductions. I know I could use my statement, but I have other transactions there that I do not want to be explaining. Do you have any suggestions for me? Thanks once again |
GraciousWords: 4:16am On Apr 02 |
Opemipooye: Sorry none ...... except to provide the statements with deposits that match the pay stub. |

If you are in the Construction Industry target the Trade Category Based Draw (CBD). Check if your job duties fits into any of the Trade CBD NOC codes. If ur crs is below 400 boost it by either maxing ielts or any other thing that could be done. Be Ready!

If your Job duties doesn't fall into any category and no PNP or French. You could get work experience in any of the CBD eg Health. Atleast, Six month full time work experience is needed or one year part-time. It could also be your secondary Noc. Also, If ur crs is below 400 boost it by either maxing ielts or any other thing that could be done. Be Ready!

Does anyone here with counterfoil have less than 6 months to expire on their int’l port? Or know someone that had same issue? Airline won’t let you book a ticket with less than 6 months port validity, I need to know if I should go for a port renewal. |
chiderajude(m): 7:09am On Apr 04 |
May06: Hello, how did you finally go about this? |
MayorOfEdmonton: 9:29pm On Apr 04 |
Do you have counterfoil/immigrant visa stamped on the port already? Or you’re just been proactive? I know airlines are not very rigid about port validity for Immigrant(PR) Visa cos you’re immigrating and don’t need to book return ticket. It’s different with TRV though. In the past IRCC will advise you renew your port if less than 6 months before they send PPR, don’t know if that has changed. If you’re been been proactive, renew the port and send it via webform. chiderajude: 1 Like 1 Share |

Pearlbola06: You are right, but how can one do this education background thing, I have an HND and teaching experience but the NOC says that one must have educational background related to teaching. What can you advise? |
NiceTheDev: 11:41am On Apr 05 |
Funky123: You just add PGDE and you're good. TRCN is mandatory too because its your teaching license 1 Like |

My IELTS is on the 9th of this month and i am super tensed. I need help on how to overcome Listening
|
Ontarioo: 4:38pm On Apr 05 |
Folasewami:Keep practicing. I'm sure by now you know all the English language rules. The focus is to know how to use English language and not just how to answer IELTS questions. For IELTS, CELPIP or PTE study material and lectures, reach out below |
rooftops: 9:03pm On Apr 05 |
Folasewami: Calm down, there is really nothing there so far you have practiced appropriately. You don't want to go tensed to the exam hall as that is a recipe to fumble the exam but i know you will ace it. Good luck |
Stevostical(m): 10:23pm On Apr 05 |
Pearlbola06:Hi Pearl, must it take a year for part-time work? For instance, if you are a part-time teacher teaching 20 hours per week instead of the 30 hours for full-time, it would take nine months. Would that suffice? |
Pearlbola06: 8:27am On Apr 06 |
Stevostical:Perhaps if the calculations are right but I am not sure. You can research on this or someone can confirm here if it works. |

Hope you're good at synonyms because what is in the question will be reformulated in the audio using synonyms. If you wait to hear the exact words, they are already in the next question 😂 Folasewami: |

Hi guys, Kindly help me share recent British Council materials for ielts. Thanks |
jedisco(m): 2:22pm On Apr 07 |
Babyodesco: I'd give some pointers you could look into Whats your work experience and primary qualification? You may be eligible for category based draws Also, what's your age? - you might want to calculate your CRS score via the free online calculator (you can estimate an IELTS score) Have you looked at the financial requirements esp reserve funds- could you muster it for self (and family if you have one)? Also, if married, your spouse may boost your chances as the main applicant if they have a better express entry profile i.e age, degree e.t.c Look at the category based draws and see if there are occupations there you have the relevant experience in or can pivot into while prepping other documents. Also, if you speak or are willing to learn basic French, it could be a huge advantage 1 Like |

Afternoon guys, I got my PPR finally ![]() ![]() I need some guidance on submitting our ports at the VFS office especially from those who submitted as a group. We are a family of 5 while I am the PA. 1. Regarding the consent form for my kids, I have only put their names in the name(printed) section of the second page but telephone number, email and signature are mine. This is the right way to do it? Secondly, the third page of the form is the consent form indirect submission. Will I also put in my details on this page for them, since I will be submitting and collecting it? Thirdly, the last page has to do with biometrics, do we need to fill this for the kids and us, giving that we have already done that when giving our biometrics back in January. 2. For my wife, same question as above for the third page and last page, since she will be filling the second page by herself. Thanks for your help in advance 11 Likes |
