in DC, you don't have to tell the person that you are secretly recording them, but in california, Maryland, and some other states, you have to let someone know that they are being audibly or visually recorded; even in your company's vehicle and property. You're giving a different scenario here my dear. There's always clearly T&C binding the employer and the employee. Even your maid have her privacy which must be respected. But that doesn't give her privilege to invade into yours. my comment earlier in this matter, I condemned the driver's action in totality but the company ought to have stated their policy if at all they didn't do so against the impending defaulters.
