So PM can’t fetch sponsorship in the UK or what are your objections?

Many I personally know, who did their Masters in PM ended up with care jobs and worker roles to get sponsorship.

The truth is that UK employers are now being incentivised to hire local workers as opposed to sponsoring internationals. Even care provider organisations. It's the government's stated policy and they're gradually ramping things up in that direction. One has to be very strategic in selecting areas in which you want to work. Healthcare and related fields basically the best choice. Fully understand not everyone can opt for that, but that is the stark fact.

Also, the more blue collar the job role, the more likely there is to be shortages. There is most definitely no shortage of white collar workers in the UK competing for the pool of available jobs and PM is certainly not a field in which there is any shortage of eager candidates. For instance, someone with an APM certification with an existing right to work will almost certainly be favoured over an international with an MSc in PM seeking sponsorship. It is what it is. Advisable you gain as much information as you can about existing situation in the UK and plan accordingly so you don't arrive uninformed or unprepared for what you are going to have to deal with.

People should also know that if one gets sponsorship outside health and care, u pay the full IHS for the number of years.
So if u get 5 years sponsorship in Teaching for instance, that's £1035 x 5 excluding the visa application fee. That's for just one person, so if u have a family, each member pays that amount.

Thank you. Ideally, one is supposed to get a response within 5-15 working days if there’s no NSF received right?

Hi guys

Pls I’m going for Mpharm at RGU I got a conditional offer already and waiting for CAS processes.

I’m just seeking other opinions on venturing into a 4year program in the UK at this time maybe any little info I need to know

Also, I have an undergrad degree in biochemistry from Nigeria. Is that going to be a problem for visa based on career progression since the Master of Pharmacy program is still seen as an undergraduate program?

Lastly, I need to connect with people going to RGU for September intake.

I’ll appreciate every response. Thank you.

Be aware of when your university will start issuing CAS. Use this information to your advantage so you don't have to renew your POF every month after the first one expires. Ideally, you should start the process as soon as your tuition deposit is confirmed.
As i said, email your university immigration & compliance team

Thanks a lot bro.

Yes, and the simple reason is that PM is not really considered as a shortage occupation in the UK and it's not eligible for salary discount. And the employer will have to for 38,000 salary ? After that they will have to pay for the COS, visa application cost, no free IHS like health and care visa etc. These are the reasons. PM jobs kind of meant for the locals.

it is worth mentioning that there is a limit to which you can increase the hours to make up to the salary. This is why most people irrespective of Thier disciple, including PM that I also know end up into HCA. Although thier dependants have a little bit of flexibility in choosing jobs.

Reason one has to research and really plan well in choosing course of study, to have higher chances.

My undergraduate is in Counselling Psychology, Postgraduate in Clinical Child Psychology and presently on my second skilled worker visa job with a Borough in Central London without paying a dime for both sponsorships and still getting offers for sponsorship but I am okay with my Borough here in London which pays 1.5 of what I would have earned working for NHS.

Ok. What if I have a Civil Engineering bachelor's degree with over five years construction experience. Is it easy to get engineering COS or the PM COS even though the engineering Bachelor's is obtained from an African Institute?

please house, i never knew i could be this confused. i have HND in civil Engineering. i applied for masters degree in UK (construction project management) only for them to reply that they cant give me because i have HND

now they brought two options for me to choose between Msc project management or Bsc Hons (yr 2).
now i am really confused as rumor has it that project management doesnt worth it. and for me to go for civil Eng. i will need more funds. tuition fee is 16900 for Msc in project management, and 16900 for civil Eng. note 2yrs for civil Eng.

kindly advice me gurus in the house. thanks

I would suggest you apply to schools that take HND as their requirement if you want to retain your course, there are quite a number of them that do. Also look towards canada they have high prospects for civil engineering and also construction a graduate certificate course will be good.
