He must have learned from Fubara's mistake. One of Fubara's biggest mistakes was allowing Tinubu to influence him to drop the court cases he instituted against the defected lawmakers. That mistake was used against him especially in court.

From failed resolutions affecting state govs and states of assembly I can say that BAT is not a good peacemaker. His intervention is often extreme which tends to give unwarranted power to one of the parties. Like in Rivers State the same thing played out. BAT always give one sided settlement.

I think Obasa learnt from Fubara's case. Fubara was asked by Tinubu to withdraw his case against the 27 defected lawmakers who by defecting should have lost their seats and Fubara withdrew his case but they did not withdraw their own case against him leading to the Supreme court eventually ruling against Fubara and as he had withdrawn his own case against the Defected 27, he had no choice but to comply with the Supreme courts rulings against him which he was not even allowed to carry out in full before he was illegally removed.

Obasa being a criminally minded person like his benefactor Tinubu knows that if you want to eat with the devil, you have to use a long spoon.

The Lagos State government has a budget running already which was ed by a legitimate legislative house so if the legislative house is not in order it doesn't bother the daily affairs of the State.
So whatever in-fighting existing in the legislative house doesn't affect the Lagos State economy or threaten the security of Nigeria.

Anyways I think Obasa is trying to push his luck if he truly wants to continue with the court case and he may not like the outcomes of it till the SC.
