Wow. 25k in one day?

Please what state do tiu drive in?

Lagos. I work from 8am to 5pm. I didn’t just start earning that much though. It took months for me to understand the business. Even though I only drive once in a while. Let’s just say I learnt on the job.

you can never understand Bolt pricing, a trip of 25km in 1hour15mins shows 14k as estimate, while a trip of 45km in 1hour30mins shows 16k as estimate.

minus 25km from 45km that's 20km extra, are they saying that 20km difference in both trips just worth 2k difference in price...

that's why I like doing trips less than 10km distance, e dey pay all this long distance trip.

I park somewhere.

I'd say some of the issue is on me, cos I don't know road like that. So I miss the way sometimes. I use map, but on many occasions, map has taken me the wrong direction...telling me left turn, when it's right turn. I am getting better now sha with navigation.

I was once like you.
It’s normal to make mistakes but just make sure you don’t make the same mistake twice.
Like I said, focus on Indrive for now while using bolt or Uber as backup. Secondly, don’t accept rides that are more than 5 minutes away..
There are some areas you should avoid as a beginner.(Lagos Island is a good example. The place is too rough). Always look out for requests heading to lekki, Ajah, Oshodi. Don’t stop for anybody that’s not the police. When you’re in an area without much requests, do everything possible to leave that area even if the fare is low. Avoid driving around looking for rides. You’ll waste fuel. Always park somewhen you can wait for requests.

Sorry for my typo errors. I wrote everything in a hurry.

Like everything else you need experience in this hustle. People would say is it not just driving to pick up, and drop off riders. Yes, it is, but you need to know what constitutes a good trip. Get in touch with Pearl and Cheerfulgiver for mentoring.
Since I have been back on the road I make 30k+ daily except last Sunday, when I did 27 or 28k. As I stated earlier, those figures come with experience.
Also, I'd advise you stick to Uber if you can make 8-10 trips daily, as it's beginner-friendly, until you get a hang of the hustle and know the lay of the land.
Good luck.

How many days of the week do you work? And how many hours each day?

One more question. Thr car you drive, what's the engine capacity? 1.6? 1.8? 2.4?

Thanks in advance

The fact that you're even making profit as a beginner is a good sign. Don't worry, you'll make more with time.

Bro I have a foreign used Toyota Camry 2005 , it has not been used locally(you can bring your mechanic or expert to confirm this). You can check my profile to see the pictures. Price is 6.2m and I’m willing to negotiate slightly for a very serious buyer.

I don’t know if I’m allowed to post the pictures here.

You're very much allowed.

The more money you need the more work you put in.
Lemme give you a tip, if you want to remain vitalised and energetic even after having driven for hours on end, stretch your muscles in the morning, and at night when you return from the hustle. It works better than any psychoactive drugs or whatever you may be advised to take.

Good day to you all.

I know people don't like to disclose how much they earn, but maybe some people that don't mind to give me an idea of how much they make from this hustle. I drive a Nigeria used KIA Cerato (2006 model) I bought 3 years ago. It's a 2.0 engine car. i'm on Bolt Regular and I got on In drive 4 days ago. Based on the 3 weeks I have done this so far, I'd say I make an average of 20k a week (after removing fuel money)...working 5 days a week. That's pretty low, and I want to know how other people are doing.

Is it because i'm new to the business, or because my car chops fuel. I just want to know.

Thanks in advance.

25k profit in a week?
Something is wrong
I have few questions for you and i might know how to help you

1. How many hours do you work each day?
2. How much fuel do you buy daily?
3. What is a rough estimate of the amount of trips you take daily?

Good evening bosses. I have been facing this issue of rats staying in my car engine compartment. Each morning whenever I open bonnet or start the car, I will see them run out. Their shit is everywhere in my engine compartment.

How do I solve this issue please.

First of all, let me say I just got on InDrive few days ago. Before that, I was just on Bolt Regular, and I usually wait hours before getting trips. Also, my car is manual. It's not easy driving long hours in lagos traffic with a manual car.

Let me answer your questions...

1. I work 8 hours a day.

2. I buy like 13k fuel each day. My fuel gauge is always around full tank. I started eith a full tank, so I just basically top up everyday.

3. 3- 4 trips a day.

Yes.
With time and experience you will earn more.
"Much respect" started like you, today he's a high flier.

Simple tips :
Dont joke with Mondays, Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays.

Eat before you leave home.
Avoid stimulants.

Decide if it's day-shift or night-shift.
Don't combine both, else you will be restless the following day.

Combine all three major apps. With time you will decipher which one suits your work ethics.

Understand demand- zones. ( for instance waiting for request in ICM on a Monday morning).

Don't accept useless requests

You must not work every day.

Read and learn from other experienced drivers.

I'll post more as I can.

Whoa! This net income is impressive.

On what you said about not combining the shifts, and not necessarily having to work everyday. When I fiest started, I worked 10 days straight, morning to night, with maybe 3 hours break in-between. I broke down on the 11th day.

Now I plan on working from 10am to 6pm, 5 days a week.

Thanks for your your comment. Please how long have you been in this business?

Why are you starting at 10am? When everyone is already at work...you've missed the peak period..with low orders on Bolt now, if you go online by 10am. You may not get your first 'quality' trip until 1130am.. time is very important if you want to maximize your earning. Start early, take breaks in between. Avoid dead driving.

That time suits me cos of less traffic. I get orders any time of the day on Indrive. , this business always has to do with your location.
