We can't make play off! It's over.

Why? Even if we win our remaining matches?

We were wasteful, show boating not playing as a team shooting from ridiculous angles

Honestly

Because he has already struck a balance with team

The understanding and cohesion is there

So why the rush to get another coach

Having 3 coach in one qualifier

Meanwhile South Africa has been with Hugo Boss who has made and improve on his mistake

We should not have removed Rohr

It's over! No world cup for Nigeria. Zimbabwe came here to spoil the show but the naija players didn't understand the script. Nigerian players ain't smart at all. Immediately osimhen scored and Zimbabwe started having time on the ball, I knew disaster was coming. Nigeria doesn't deserve to be in the world cup. Let's face the fact.

There are no quality players as such in that team.
Only few could be regarded as good players.

The midfield remains a problem till date.
How do we explain midfielders that couldn't dribble one or two players.

It is not about bringing foreign players to the team, good players could be selected from within.

But corruption won't allow us to do the needful, or how do we explain that some players even bribe their ways to the local league.

The problem didn't start from today...

Back to the permutation as usual

I was telling one nairalander that this stadium is not world class but only FIFA approved, but the guy was arguing that it is world class!

I couldn't even watch the match because the pitch was paining my eyes.
mickyeddi:
Why are we still using static banners on the ment board in our stadium in 2025? Even little Rwanda is using electronic digital board. So much for the so called giant of Africa.

SA is too far ahead of us
..but according to news.. they said FIFA can reduct 3 points away from south Africa for playing an ineligible player against lesotho..the player already had 2 yellow cards..so FIFA is investigating the matter

And when they perform well how long will the home-based remain home-based?

Our team selection should be guided by one key principle: dedication. A player's commitment to the team is paramount and should determine their inclusion, irrespective of their origin. Troost-Ekong's consistent dedication, evident in his performances despite his background, serves as a perfect example. Osimhen was home-based, and despite his fame, he always gave his best. There are a few like that. Therefore, I propose a strategy of combining homegrown players with international players who have demonstrably chosen Nigeria with genuine dedication, not as a secondary option after other national teams ed them over.

Yeah... Same with me.

I just knew the Super Eagles can never go far with Peter Obi in charge of Sports Ministry and Nigerian Football Federation.

The man is such a failure at running national ministries and even leading key sectors. undecided

We can qualify if South Africa loses to Lesotho, Zimbabwe and us.

Losing to us is possible. Losing to Lesotho and Zimbabwe? No. Infact if we beat south Africa and they draw against Zim and thrash Lesotho, we are out.
I love đź’• your patriotism!

But bet it. Nigeria won't qualify. We're out, despite your permutations.

We are not going.

If we win our next 3 games we get 9 points which means 16 points. Good

However, all the Saffers have to do is to win one game and draw the next and they are on 17 points. They can lose their last game, it does not matter.

They can lose against us , it does not matter. They just need a win and a draw. We need to win all our games and hope that the Saffers

1. Lose all their remaining 3 games to be totally sure of qualifying

2. Lose against us and lose another game for it to go down to goal difference.

We threw away our chances by our loss to Benin. That's where the shit happened

South Africa faces Lesotho next, then us, then Zimbabwe. They will beat Lesotho and they most likely will beat Zim or draw with them. And. Qualify. I don't see Lesotho or Zim beating South Africa. We could beat them and also we could draw with them

Make we face next Afcon

Realistically, it's very difficult to qualify as it stands. However if they could win the remaining 4 games, that will take them to 19 points.

I believe with 19 points, they may have a slot at WC Play-Offs. How they will win all 4 remaining matches is in their hands. Super Chickens.

. Nigeria has to win the remaining 4 matches to even stand a chance to qualify.. South Africa has 13 points, Nigeria 7 points
It is good to be patriotic.

But from what I have seen against Zimbabwe, Nigeria is technically out. I can't see them making any impact.

AFRICA SHOULD HAVE MORE THAN 5 SLOTS AT THE WORLD CUP.

HOW CAN EUROPE HAVE 16 SLOTS AND AFRICA 5?

THEN WHEN OUR BIG TEAMS DON’T QUALIFY, IT MEANS THEY ARE “NOT GOOD ENOUGH”.

THAT’S BULLSHIIT.

IT’S PURE MANIPULATION AND CHEATING.

ENGLAND PLAYS LATVIA, MONTENEGRO, NORTH MACEDONIA ETC TO QUALIFY.

VILLAGE TEAMS.

What are you even saying Africa has 9 slot for the WC nah

Your problem is actually not a coaching problem but a foundational one.

Your country is sick, yet you want football to do well?

How come you do well outside the shores only to come get beaten or struggle at home?

Which home game have we played of recent that we won convincingly?

Imagine beating Rwanda 2 0 away just to drag at home against the bottom team.

This is gradually playing out as a curse.. (Happens in football from time to time)

Exactly,Maybe there is something they are looking for at the back that make them to the back all the time instead of pushing forward.maybe we should mix the team with some hungrier home based players.

Okay here is our road to the final

We face Rwanda at home, South Africa away, Lesotho away, and Benin at home.

South Africa face Lesotho at home, NIgeria at home, Zimbabwe away, and Benin at home.

1. If we win all our matches, and SA wins all their games, thats 12 plus 7 for us, and 12 plus 13 for SA...meaning we still don't qualify.

2. If we win all our matches and SA wins 3 and draws one, that's 12 plus 7 for us, and 13 plus 10 for SA, meaning we don't qualify

3. If we win all our matches, and SA wins 3 and loses one, thats 12 plus 7 for us, and 9 plus 10 for SA...meaning we are level on points and it goes to goal difference.

4. For us to qualify, SA has to lose three of their next 4 games, while we win all our next 4 games. That means we get 12 plus our current 7 points and SA gets 3 plus 13...

5. Of course it depends on how Benin and Zimbabwe do.

We are in deep shit. We drew too many games for us to survive, and we changed our coach too late. As far as i know, we are not going to the world cup, barring any miracles....
