What about pastors that use tithe and offering brought by poor to buy private jets, build schools for the rich and move around with armed security while their live in poverty, find it difficult to send their children to the school that was built with their own money.

Ever since Righthussle posted on Nairaland that "Whoever or whatever made the universe does not and will NEVER EVER EVER NEVER need your money for A N Y T H I N G whatsoever. Instead of giving your hard earned money to these thieves, use it to feed stray dogs on the street.", i stopped giving money to these thieves.

According to Righthussle,

Any human being who collects money/tithe/offering/first fruit or anything from other humans on behalf of the maker of the universe is a THIEF . You don't need a judge to tell you that.

Any human who gives money to another human with the mindset that he/she is giving money to the creator of the universe or any unseen entity is not only a big fool but a mad person.

Any man who tells you he works for the maker of the universe is a thief. He works for his stomach. He must one day come to tell you his "all-sufficient " god whom he works for needs your money. The being behind the existence of the universe is not a human like Dangote, Elon Musk or Tinubu that will need workers and money. Wise up

Music industry must be paid for service rendered!

What if anyone from music industry has no other livelihood than singing, playing instruments, etc, won't they feed their family

A big lie.

No one has ever cheated the churches like the GOs.

They are made and become popular in a church only to go and float their own churches to become CEO using the instruments and gifts from their mother churches.

If church not turning itself to money making venture, that's when your argument would hold water sir.

The same church that would go out for crusade, in which they would be counting their profits/ losses at the end of crusade.

When did church become business entity, that normally subject to profit & loss acct?

If you are singing for God, you shouldn't ask for a charge fee. If you are given rewards then it's fine.

He talked about people leaving the church to start singing on a solo career and also about pastors leaving the church to start their own. Now ask him if he was born in Christ embassy, did he not learn the ropes from another church and pastor(s) before veering off to start his own?

No one has cheated Christianity more than Nigerian pastors and Daddy GO's.

Money that should be spent on the poor and needy is frittered away on Pastor expenses like costly flights, hotels etc.

Shame on you all. On judgement day, none of you will be treated specially, why are you people gorging yourselves on your faux uber importance on earth?

Dont mind him.
He was a member of Christ Apostolic Church ( Bishop Idahosa) before he started Christ Embassy

and if you are preaching for God you shouldn't be asking for a reward or expect or collect any reward in any form, you shouldn't be acquiring any material or financial possession on earth, you should be aiming for heaven only ? undecided

I guess Pastor Chris was referring to music artists, possibly an indirect dig to Chinwo and other gosplepreneurs he's had close with.

Music ministers understand the reason you invited them and they must be paid because they are very special in you guys minds and add value to the ministration. You pastors have singers in the church but still go ahead to invite special singers to entice the people. You pastors and people blame the government for mismanagement of fund but you do the same by spending church money on overated gospel singers.

The ignorant once will start talking. Nobody ed those gospel artist in Christ Embassy like anyone else. We are not talking about 10,20,40,50 millionaire gift that pastor Chris do give to them. None was paying their house rent. Pastor Chris takes care of them until they think that they have grown that they won't listen to him again.
How can you charge money to come and sing for God, to come and praise God. Does that makes sense at all.
