I have followed this thread from page 1 till now and I got enough information.
Please the course I studied is History and Diplomatic Studies and on the Annabin page, HISTORY alone is verified. Do you think I need ZAB?
You can go and apply, while doing ZAB if you have the means. If they don't accept it, atleast tour have ZAB in waiting
victorygiven: 5:27pm On Mar 16
if we apply for ZAB, how soon will they ask us to pay?

Original primary cert and either WAEC or NECO. No need for junior WAEC. Stop bothering yourself with all these. When you they'll give you an update on changes. So stop stressing.
For your information, the waiting time has increased to 6 months currently

Hello,
I have the German opportunitycard, took me about 4 months to process because it took ZAB 3 months to confirm my degree certificate.
PS.
I did mine outside Nigeria
victorygiven:
I asked 2 people in about the opportunity card visa they said it's a scam, they told me have i met any Nigerian who was given the VISA? i told them the website to apply for it is official german consular portal still they argued that it's not real and that they will later ask me for money, i am confused here, is Opportunity Card real? have any Nigerian gone for the interview before and given Visa? i will appreciate all comments and links to prove it's real, i need to send it to those people in , they said if it's real they will know that they are living there.
Information is power

They don't ask much. These are the major questions from those who attended.
1. Why
2. What will you do if you don't get a job
3. Who will you be staying with
4. Questions regarding your education from primary to secondary school to university with exact dates
5. They don't need your CV and motivational letter If you apply as a skilled worker
6. They'll ask you all details about work experience and input it.
Before these, they'll take your 10 fingers thumbprint and pay the €75 visa fee. That's all

You can't use that in Nigeria. You only provide one of these:
1. Block evidence in a German (€13,092)
2. Sponsorship letter
3. Part time contract of 20hrs per week at least €1091

Good day all. Can one relocate with family through this route

Hello and thanks to you all for making and contributing to this thread. This is something I am considering and I want to go for it.
The online portal says this;
"The German Mission is currently very busy
The estimated waiting time is: approx. 2-6 months."
As ZAB (My university and and degree are both listed but the degree isn't listed under my university) takes about 4 months now, do I wait to have it before I my ing documents or can I submit my visa application and then submit the individual Certificate Evaluation by ZAB later?
The portal says I fulfil the requirement based on the questionnaire I filled out. I have a Computer Science degree and about 5 years of working experience. Is there anything I should have in mind?
victorygiven: 4:52pm On Mar 18
your degree is listed is enough not important to be listed under your university

True, most of the hurdles when it comes to applying for visa is being in Nigeria and applying for it. People who relocate find it very easy to get visas when they apply.
I would like to ask some questions to everyone here:
1. Filling employment under "Purpose of stay in the Federal Republic of " - This is accurate right?
2. Also the reference part, can it be anybody? What is better, reference person or Educational establishment/company/organisation? Does the reference person have to physically do anything?
3. What are your means of in the Federal Republic of - filling Blocked is okay?
4. Has a formal declaration of commitment been completed - No.
5. Do you have health insurance (for a longer stay) for the Federal Republic of - I am to get health insurance before applying? What are the options?

Hello everyone, so I have been stocked in the stage of providing my proof of funding. The person I have been banking on to assist with either a declaration of commitment or block funds is not seeming to be responsive. Does anyone know of a legitimate means I can access to lend the funds to be blocked? Treat with urgency please, thanks!

You can take your health insurance on that day of appointment or do it and .
It's preferred to have a reference in . If you don't have, you can use an establishment here in Nigeria. They need it to confirm some details if needs be

Thanks so much, also the Anabin database showing the degree is enough right? I don't have to pay for ZAB.
I have a reference in already, but I haven't done the blocked yet. I can do that some days to the visa appointment right?
I'll also stall the insurance to that period. You have been helpful. Thanks.

When it's your turn, you'll get an email notice and your portal will be activated for you to review your details, edit, and make any corrections before sending for preliminary review.
When they've made the review and you've done all the corrections, your portal will change to the attached photo, and you'll be asked to book an appointment.
There are dates readily available for opportunity card applicants. You can even book an appointment for this coming Monday.

Since there are dates available, I wonder why the waiting period is showing 2-6 months on their portal... Hopefully it won't be that long sha.
