It is wrong to accuse Elrufai of sponsoring the killing of Christians, there is no fact anywhere to this.

The fact is, the Crisis between the different religious groups exists long before Elrufai. He tried to solve it by initially trying to pay off the Fulanis for their financial losses , but this didn't work, and it more or less backfired against him.
