Tinubu is a disaster

He has always been a disaster in governance, using propaganda to pretend he is a democrat when he is nothing other than a lootocrat.

Has he paid all federal workers including youth corpers the new minimum wage

Nigeria: Pensioners Urge Tinubu to Pay Arrears

26 March 2003
This Day (Lagos)

Lagos — Pension teachers in Lagos State under the aegis of Teacher Pensioners of Nigeria (TEPAN) have urged Governor Bola Ahmed Tinubu, to review his stance on paying the harmonised three year old outstanding pension allowance or risk losing their votes.

In a statement signed by the Public Relations Officer (PRO) of TEPAN, Mr. Ayodabo 'Lade, accused Tinubu of failing to pay the arrears to teachers on their correct pension grade since the year 2000, contrary to what was obtainable in other five States of the South-west controlled by the Alliance for Democracy (AD).

A large crowd of Lagosians was filmed in a long queue struggling to collect a loaf of bread. To maintain order, several military personnel were on the ground to control the crowd. This has triggered a lot of reactions online.

Who told you. Barbing salons are balling oh. 1500 per barbing!
Vadese1:
The research is very simple. Take a look at your neighborhood, how many barbing /hair salons are still operating because of the high cost of fuel. The man is a disaster

What do you mean by hybrid?
ManspaceBarber:
Chances of surviving for the first 0-5years for any business, especially MSMEs is less than 15%

It is even worse in a place like motherland Africa, fatherland Nigeria.

To add salt o injuries, it harder if the business operates physically (in a brick and mortar building), cos bills are higher in this case.

Hence some of us are operating hybrid and aim to pivot fully to an online based startup.

Where is this coming from?

Before accepting these politically motivated figures, we must ask:

1. What was the average number of business closures between 2019 and 2023?

2. How many new businesses, particularly indigenous ones, were established in the same period?

3. How many new companies have been ed in Nigeria over the same period (2023-2024)?

Credible data on the above will provide a clearer perspective rather than sensational claims.

As someone actively engaged with businesses in Nigeria, I can confidently say that the rate of company closures today is not as alarming as it was in past years. In fact, some previously struggling businesses have revived, and many new ones are emerging.

We must not allow politicians to manipulate us for their own interests. Prioritize your future and that of your children. Those like El-Rufai and others have secured their wealth and their children's futures using our national resources—don’t let them mislead you.

If President Tinubu is not performing well, the same people who criticized Jonathan in 2014-2015 for personal gain, these new hawks will not do any better. Back then, gullible Nigerians listened, and today, we see how much further we have fallen. Let’s think critically and not be used as political pawns.

If the economy is growing at 3.7 percent in previous quarter , then many new business are also opening .

else we would have been in a recession , it does not require rocket science .

Not necessarily. Where are the many businesses? Increse in something like minimum wage and therefore all wages will read as the economy growing

Who told you the economy grew by 3.7% with the lie lie statistics this government is full of?

May your growth be like that of the Nigerian economy.

You nor get job, you nor get business talkless of company yet crying over what you never have and will never have.

It is now considered malicious propaganda because it doesn't portray the Tinubu government in a good light. However, if the report had lied about some phantom 7 million businesses being created, you wouldn't have described it as malicious propaganda.

We know your type, but it doesn't change the reality on the ground that Tinubu's wicked and draconian policies, masquerading as economic reforms, have caused the shutdown of 7 million businesses.
CodeTemplar: 7:56am On Mar 11
That's around 8,500-9,000 businesses per LGA. I find hard to believe.
