Anytime Dangote tries to reduce petrol price, NNPC find a way to sabotage it and keep the price up. NNPC is now the enemy of the people. They obviously dream of keeping people in penury and squalor

Nnpc are feeling the heat from dangote fire. Time to sabotage the man. But then where is tinubu that approved crude for naira deal
Does it mean he is not aware that all the crude has been used for loans

Perhaps they sense that Dangote might be doing price slashing intentionally to force others out of business. That is how rich monopolists do to wade off competitors.

They should just do what will benefits the masses.

Shameless incompetent people
They're not incompetent, they know what they're doing.

They're demons that derive joy in the affliction of Nigerians.

If I had power, I would have jailed all NNPC top officials for life with very hard labor. They constitute 50% of Nigeria's woes. The other 50% are our politicians.

Do you know what monopoly is?
is when NNPC has four refineries and ground them all to keep importing petrol alone. Idiotic fool.

Are you a dunce? Because nothing else can excuse your imbecilic comment which completely deviates from the body of the article. Abi you no sabi read?

Seeing how you have no tangible propaganda to spill in the government's defence on this issue, you swiveled to attacking fuel stations as if they're the ones refining petrol. Mumu!

Who else understands this game....?

The target isn't against independent refineries like Dangote...

The target is against the Nigerian people, the issue over PMS reduction recently , is already sparking greed reaction from NNPCL..

Did they not say that Naira for crude oil will further strengthen the value of Naira?

They want PMS should not go less than ₦1,500 per liter... That's NNPCL target...

The first 5,000 senior officials of NNPCL should be locked up in an island with no comminication link with the world. Anything short will lead to stupid competition with sane investors.
i swear, call a meeting with their top executives, round them up and lock them in jails

This greedy cabal wants to disgrace Tinubu.

What are Nigerians gaining by improved revenue and from crude sales by NNPCL, a company built by tax payers money and the crude also belongs to the people.

The government must give something back to the people, and can only do that through selling fuel at a very low price, and subsidising electricity. It makes no sense when government say they are increasing revenues to governors and the people are paying huge bills and costs for fuel and electricity, this will reduce the purchasing and investment capital of Nigerians and shrink the real economy.

We all know that the citizens buying and selling/exchange and investment runs and economy, grows an economy and create wealth, not by putting money in the hands of governors who will most likely lavish it on foreign made goods.

This is why it's difficult for any individual called president to fix this country. These criminals can't stand to watch the price going down further.

The grave destruction of the economy that Buhari carried out will be felt for years to come. Buhari used Nigeria's future oil production as collateral for all the huge loans he was collecting. Everything that the NNPC will produce for the next 5 years has already been mortgaged. The NNPC was only able to contribute less than 100 billion naira to the nations treasury last year. Buhari sold this country out.

If this is true... How many culprit was arrested? Abi Ex president Buhari came down and just mortgage Nigeria... What happened to Senate president and other people involved...

Can't they give of all these mismanagement of funds and abuse of offices..

What happened to EFCC,IC and others...

This country is depressing. Educated witches and wizards and the helpless cry of the masses, shivering and cowardly hiding under the coverage of their shadows praying not to be the next meal.

What happened to the crude Oil allocation of the four Government refineries. For NNPC to forward sell to 2030 means they do not want any Government refineries to function.

I have said it over and over again, people who think the problem with Nigeria is politicians and not civil servants, government parastatals and all the other bureaucracy that holds them together are in for long things.

NNPC and their staff are some of the most useless and highly corrupt individuals in this country and until people like them are tackled with their job security taken away from them, nothing is going to change.
It all starts from the leadership. Clean up the head and the body will follow suit. The civil servants have no way to benefit if their bosses (the politicians) are not benefiting 100 times more.

crude for naira swap is not the factor behind recent Pms price drop, global oil price is the culprit here

Crude for naira swap does not negate int'l market price, Nnpc sells crude to dangote at naira equivalence of int'l barrel price,

Nnpc as never met Dangote needs, therefore dangote importing crude wont be a big challenge.
what can trigger a significant hike in Pms price is if int'l market price start going up again, maybe mazi emeka suite you cheesy

Let me explain, though NNPC is not meeting the agreed quota but the naira-crude has helped in easing the pressure on the local currency.
If the N/C stops, the naira will face pressure thereby giving us low purchasing power

I wonder if the evil this government is doing the masses is not enough that few Nigerians that are privileged to get crumbs from them will just choose to consistently add to the pain?

What does this news reporter desire as the result of this news?

More hardship for the masses!

A day of reckoning is at hand
