That S1 sold me dreams fr 😩....glad i have been able to form the habit of dropping media that no longer serves my interests, no matter how high profile they may seem on paper...

I might get around to this S3 sometime in the future or not even, it's not a priority anymore... can't be arsed tbh.

Invincible latest episode was great,as for daredevil I haven't watched the original Netflix production(no interest). The fight between him and that bullseye in this marvel universe is one of the best fighting choreography.

Honestly I did enjoy the episode...

But the series has many problems...
This particular hyped Invincible War had zero buildup...it was only hyped in promotionals.

It had no buildup in the actual story. A useless forgettable villain who was thought to have died since season 2 somehow showed up and caused chaos in 1 episode.

The war started and was resolved in the same episode with zero buildup leading up to it.

It's basically villain of the week at this point. I guess I should give up on it having a cohesive storyline and enjoy it purely for what it is.

It's just superheroes punching each other every week with the same character arcs repeated on the main characters...

eg. the Punisher, Deadpool, Wolverine and Batman perhaps. Any sane hero would already know that you can’t put this guy in jail. Invincible is very strong but he keeps punching like a tiny girl

I’m almost in tears sincerely because it’s probably the only franchise I’m totally invested in fully. They literally brought a director who has NEVER finished the book and doesn’t even show appreciation for the franchise
