Monkey dey work, baboon dey chop.those guys working in telecommunications industries, mtn o,glo o Etisalat o econet o whatever name it is are silent millionaires. They are quietly enjoying their millions in private so no one notices or pays attention to them. Infact the difference between them and politicians is that politicians are lousy about their money but telecommunication guys are very discreet in their lifestyle. You will never see them in owanmbe spraying money or at club doing lau lau

[quote author=Hemanwel post=134374858][b] How is this possible? Let's bring it to perspective:

N8.5m × 5 days = N42.5m per week

N42.5m × 4 weeks = N172m per month

N170m × 12 months (1 year) = N2.04b per year.

N2.04b per year?? Again I ask: how is this possible when you are not a footballer?

Let's try another perspective, how much does N2.04b translate to in $?.
Ohhhhhoooo!!!.🤷‍♂️😂😜.

When you hear price hike in multitrillion businessess like telecom businesses, it's not because of economic situation, it's because of the kind of lifestyle they want which they want you to pay for.

Av said this many times.
The shareholders are the cause.

Indomie, mtn etc should never have any reason to hike prices.

But Nigerians will say prices of diesel is to blame

Then there's governors, senators, HoR's, Ministers, presidency, SGF, Military heads, NSA, Supreme Court Judges, Major Militants, Major Terrorists. Major Traditional rulers, Then there's Elumelu cartel - RIP wigwe

he isn't the highest paid and his salary isn't upto 8.5m daily, his salary was just increased to 1.6b annually last year and that's roughly 4.5m daily, currently, the highest paid CEO is the zenith bank CEO, he currently earns 2.1b annually...

some salary earners are billionaires, don't let people fool you that you can't be wealthy by being a salary earner..

Let them keep shouting “school na scam”, as if we all can manage the risks and headaches involved in businesses.

Same way I laughed when someone said law is a useless course in Nigeria. My parents thought same too and even fasted to prevent my baby sister from studying it. Now, my parents are so surprised at how the little girl is doing so well for herself.

There are no hard and fast rules in life.
Let’s all pray to find our paths early, and maximize them while we can.

So how much is his monthly salary...?

Even if he earns N8.5 per month, it is still a whole lot. But they will declare a loss at year end shortchanging the shareholders on dividend and the country on taxation. Oga o.

they declear a loss after tax of 400B naira last year because of foreign exchange issues

that means after paying tax, they still had a loss

pls he's not a billionaire. A billionaire is someone who has cash or assets of at least 1 billon in a major world currency USD GBP or Euros. If that wasn't the case then everyone in Zimbabwe or Djibouti would be a billionaire. So he simply earns just around 1.4 million USD every year which is pretty basic in big cities like New York or Tokyo. Go San Francisco go see cash
