This is purely a case of use and dump.
And agreement was reach for Ukraine to Surrender their nuclear weapons. And 3 countries including Russia signed a pact that they would protect Ukraine if anything go wrong.
The same you that signed the pact invaded the country. Meaning that you did not keep to your own side of the agreement.
Yesterday, zelensky categorically stated that Russia has never keep to the any agreement. He cited several instances. And further for the assurance that Russia would keep to of ceasefire.
Through out the president and vice president speech. None of them talk about how they will enforce Russia to keep to the agreement. But they rather resulted to bullying.
This is not the case of zelensky playing with fire. I pray God will continue to strengthen him at this critical time.
