Take the lesson. Forget the delivery. Let Nigeria not happen to you. |

Successmind: She absolutely on point. Most of the 5 million would have been in form of maternal and child welfare government subsidies in saner climes. But our case in Nigeria here demands that all bills are on the man's head. So if you're not adequately prepared, there's no social safety net fall back on. The whole family now becomes destitute |

fergie001:To give woman belle na small tin,.na the food wey pikin go chop be the koko cos you can't Subject your baby to only breast milk. Exclusive breastfeeding is the norm but once in a while, it's advisable to supplement with baby foods, if you no wan make your wife become panla fish for this tinubu wicked regime. A tin of babyfood is over 10k now and you'd need 2 cans weekly to supplement. Baby care stuffs also dey dia. I read here on NL sometime ago where an ardent er of Tinubu ignorantly said, Nigeria had been enjoying fake life for years, that it's now we're living the kind of life that matches our standard and I asked him, what would you say of a cotonou woman who used to send all her children to Nigeria to do maids cos of our good economy and strong currency, but has withdrawn all of them, he now kept quiet. I asked again, what about the cefa that used to be a worthlessness currency now leaving the naira far behind, he kept quiet again . When you want to pull a defence, you reason logically. Nigeria being the 4th largest economy in africa today, ranking below some countrues that couldn't even rub shoulders with Nigeria 4 yrs ago is a proof how much this regime had destroyed Nigeria. They can't point to one single achievement but propaganda. 3 Likes |

Crafteck1: She said women should have at least 1 milllion in their s too… many men on front page didn’t read the full post, and the title too didn’t help by expressing her content in a provocative manner. The topic title should have indicated that she talked to both women and men. But once money is mentioned, many men are angry, see how you guys refused to read, therefore asking about the woman’s end, which you would have seen her mention if you’d just read properly. 2 Likes 1 Share |

This is why in Igbo culture, they don't give women the Ozo title and they don't allow them inherit properties. Igbo women are the most wicked and the most foolish in the black race |

Nigerians like to overpopulate And we dont produce anything. No electricity, no innovation, no drugs, cant even produce our own sufficient food, cant even produce a phone or computer or decent roads Childbirth can be very very expensive in Nigeiria. Someone that worked in a General hospital observed there was a room where women that were owing hospital bills after delivery are kept Waiting for people to come and help pay the bills Nigerians hide their messup a lot while pretending all is well. Private hospitals run generator, and power bills, pay taxes, pay signage, pay staff, buy items for their work, Government hospitals.might be a bit cheaper but most still buy drugs and drugs are expensve Things are expensive in Nigeria including pregnancy checks, pregnancy maintenance, delivery, and sometimes there are health challenges during and after delivery for either the mother or child or both. Its safer to keep money down for cases like this If You like dont use your sense 5 Likes |

DeOTR: LMAO, You are singing to a choirmember. Health insurance many times doesnt cover everything. Sometmes have waiting periods where approval has to be gotten. A lady was in labour in a private hospital and it wasnt going too okay and had to.do C.S , the. insurance company was delaying to approve. A major one, dey play The husband was told he would foot the bill if the appoval does not come Insurance that sometimes would not pay the facility. Nigerians too are fond of insurance fraud. 2 Likes |

Bigcowhorn:Heeya! FYI, I have info as far Medical sector in Nigeria is concern and I know for a fact that it cost less than 500k to do CS in a University Teaching Hospital (except Fraud get in between) and Standard Private Hospitals still charge less. Except you're paying the Price for packaging. I won't say more than that. |

Whether ₦5m or not, it's very very important to prepare very well before the delivery cos anything can happen. God purposely made gestation to be 9 months. That period is enough for one to get prepared for the arrival of the baby in any form. The man should not be careless. Love your wife and the baby to be born. Woman, even if the man want to be careless, do not play 9ja bet with your life. 2 Likes |

Don't impregnate a lady if you don't have some savings to avoid shame and disgrace. Nowadays, most births are CS. The cost at a regular hospital is not less than 400K, and that's without any complications. You can't be cruel to a newborn by feeding them only pap as there won't always be enough breast milk. A good baby formula small sma costs around 13K, and it can be finished in just five days, even with the of breast milk. Y'all in for it. ![]() 4 Likes |

theophorus: Even if motor jam you have you ever known the total cost of treating yourself to stop at the price of first treatment you take at the hospital? Are you cutting your fingernails at a University hospital daddy price should be less than 500k. Even the taxi that will rush you here we charge you at least 20K going and 20K coming back to your house. That is 40K cool in Lagos but higher if you're living in Abuja Then talk about food and drugs which can clear 100,000 easily today 100 tablets of puritans pride vitamic c cost 12,000 naira. Go and check online. It is roughly the same price offline Like I said you've lost touch with reality of the economy |

It is true, but wishes ain't reality, everybody wishes to have a good day but not everyone gets to have a good day,so many hard things happened to people that they never knew it would happen to them because they thought they had "life" all planned out but later found out that "life" many times always "fnck" things up. You all should live your life's in enjoyment o,nor make overplanning turn you into a "mechanical" dull human being o, Because soon you will get to your sixties and begin to lament on how you failed to "chop/live life" when you where younger all because you spent all those beautiful young years overplanning and not actually "living".

Sadly she has a point. Especially if in a good private hospital. Possibly she's using the hospital she works as a price guage. These things always sound like joke until when it happens, There was a woman didn't progress they said baby's head was down or it hung there couldn't finally descend or something like that already and she was recommended for emergency CS, from around 2pm till 8 this woman was still in pains husband was running around for money for the stuffs, for blood for this one for pack. The nurses were like shey this woman no get family ni can't she call her own people. They actually said they were very worried for the child because it was like they will have to pull the child out in the theathre That woman was in terrible pains for hours. It was like her vulva was even swollen again sef. I dont think money was up to 150k-200k at least for the surgery to be done. Because CS fee was 130k excluding other side expenses itwas a govt hospital. Laslas they wheeled her in around 8 If she had some funds she would have paid it herself with the amount of agony that woman was in. Now if it is a private hospital your has to be very fat. Any damn thing can go wrong during delivery intending parents should be prepared. I recommend preparing physically, prayerfully and financially. 2 Likes |

Crafteck1: Yes we are, even though we obviously have different capabilities and physical anatomy. Funny that you only equality in such cases though. That is manipulative. That there are sometimes issues which require the man to put in more effort does not give men the right to make the woman less. There are things the woman also does which the man cannot do, yet I wouldn’t tell a woman to see a man as less. 1 Like |
