They believe it is an ethnic-based ''turn by turn'' process.

So that if a Hausa man rules 4 years, then a Yoruba rules 4 years, it is automatically the right of an Igbo man to rule, and if he doesn't, it's because Nigerians hate Igbos.

It's a village mentality that is very hard to cure them of.

Igbos want the Presidential seat to be zoned to their village, so that one drug trafficker will contest against one baby factory merchant and one fake drugs manufacturer, while other regions just pick out of the three Igbo contestants. This is because they know that they can NEVER EVER win a federal election in Nigeria.


But power will never be served on the sunny table. Power will never be handed over to anyone or any tribe, you fight for it, you grab it, you snatch it, and you run away with it. That is how it has been from the beginning of the world.

Despite the fact that a Yoruba son MKO Abiola won election and was killed, when the military finally wanted to hand over power, the Presidential seat was still not zoned to Yoruba village. Alhaji Abubakar Rimi, Dr Alex Ekwueme and some others contested the PDP Primaries against Olusegun Obasanjo. In Obasanjo’’s second term, Mumumodu Buhari and even Emeka Odumegwu Ojukwu contested against Olusegun Obasanjo and he defeated them all.

Late Umar Yar’Adua too contested against candidates from all over Nigeria. Even Goatluck Jonathan contested against Buhari and some other clowns from other regions.

And in 2023, candidates from all regions of the country contested the APC Primaries and Asiwaju Emilokan defeated them and went in to take on Abubakar Atiku the Cameroonian citizen claiming Nigeria together with Bitter Giringori Obituary and some others contested clowns and the Gid of Politics humiliated them all. At no time was the number one seat zoned to any region, but that is what Igbos want, unfortunately for them, it will never happen, Nigeria’s Presidential seat will NEVER EVER be zoned to any village.
