NPA letters are ready to share next week or before the end of this month, I don't know about NIMASA, but NIMASA is better than NPA, a fresh graduate level 8/2 in NIMASA is 9M per annum 750k per month but in NPA is 7M per annum 583k per month including bonus and allowances in both of them. Good luck ๐Ÿค—

I sent my CV to the DG NIMASA, on January via email. Till now, no information from him.

Still donโ€™t get the emphasis on first class. When all they need is proper psychological profiling to identify skilled personnelโ€™s.

That's one of the problem we have as a country. PAPER.
Apart from reading and writing, there are so many people, who are not even graduates but gifted, that can do that work.

Oga Muhisah, I think the DG has the right. If I recall correctly, when the former DG Bichi arrived, he stated that he needed to have graduated with at least a third-class degree. Furthermore, during the recruitment of junior staff, he selected some candidates who struggled with English proficiency. When the President asked him about this, he explained that the environments where those individuals would be working did not require strong English skills ๐Ÿ’”๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜…

I think the class of a degree can't define a person's intelligence. Let me tell you about two scenarios that happened during the last NIA recruitment.

Firstly, during the CBT, the NIA instructed candidates to read carefully and not answer any questions. However, some candidates failed to follow the instructions, while my friend did and successfully ed the CBT.

Secondly, the NIA sent an SMS to candidates, instructing them to meet at a specific location. Upon arrival, the NIA staff brought two computer buses, one new and one old. While some candidates rushed to enter the new bus, my friend chose the old one and still managed to the interview.

This is how things work at intelligence agencies like NIA, DIA, and DSS.

As you mentioned, the former DG Bichi had a similar approach, prioritizing candidates who may not have had the highest academic credentials but possessed other valuable skills.

Intelligence agencies like NIA, DIA, and DSS often require unique skill sets that may not be directly correlated with academic performance. Experience, intuition, and the ability to think outside the box can be just as valuable as a high-grade degree.

Yes, it his right to demand 1st class, frm smb studying History, yet the Education system made him to borrow course in which they fail.๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ
Intelligence work is not a lecturing job that one must bring forward 1st class. Intelligence work is about smartness & pressure work.

Bichi was right by sayin that. Nigeria is divided into many regions, hence the need to post certain people to an environ where they can relate & exercise their duties.

I have more than 5 friends in NIA, 2 are in abroad since 2017, they were picked because of skill & uniqueness of understanding many languages.
When it comes to security agencies work, they're some Departments u may require such result from, some department u don't.

Do u need 1st class to be able to fight & shoot?
DSS is not a sociocultural agency.๐Ÿคฃ

Anyways best of luck to them. Make i turn Senator first๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿ˜…

I think he's from the older generation. He even went further to say first class graduates should be forced to serve the nation. They think brute force is a solution to every problem.
