It is public knowledge that rich Yorubas are not known to help one another. This is why there is a massive rate of poverty in yorubaland. There are uncountable number of super rich Igbo families that helped to lift their brothers.

You igbos read too much tribalism into everything.

Rivers people are not like that; hence Rotimi Chibuike Amaechi = bearing Rotimi despite no Yoruba ancestry.

Mujahid Asari, I can name many others, I know rivers people who aren’t even Muslims named Aisha, Amal, Abdul, Mohammed, Aliyu etc.

I also know rivers people with English and Portuguese last names like Horsefall, Long John, Georgewill, Duke etc.
