A Bering Air flight with 10 people aboard has gone missing while flying over 🇺🇸 Alaska in the US, prompting a large-scale search effort.

The plane, which had departed from Unalakleet, was scheduled to arrive in Nome at approximately 4 pm local time but failed to do so, triggering the alarm.

The flight was carrying nine engers and one pilot. The Nome Volunteer Fire Department confirmed the search was underway, though poor weather conditions in the area have hampered air operations.

"The weather and visibility are currently limiting our ability to conduct an air search," said a statement from the department. "We are actively conducting a ground search from Nome and White Mountain, while National Guard, Coast Guard, and Troopers are involved in the efforts."

The last known with the pilot occurred when he informed Anchorage Air Traffic Control that he was waiting to enter a holding pattern as the runway in Nome was being cleared.

Authorities have warned the public not to launch independent search efforts due to the hazardous conditions. The Nome Volunteer Fire Department also urged families to seek at Norton Sound Health Corporation.

As the search continues, officials are working to pinpoint the plane’s last known coordinates. The fate of the engers and crew remains unclear.

America thinks that they are super power in tech and can forsee things, this trend of air issue is a test of that power just like corona virus showed the super powers around the world that they are still far away in health issues containment.
