Absolutely. No junkie (Nigerians in this case) want to go to rehab. They fiercely and naturally resist it because rehab is painful for a junkie even though best for him/her long term.

Yet who benefits when the junkie beat the habit and can live a dignified, productive and fulfilled life if not the junkie himself/herself I.e Nigerians?

Without meaningful restructuring like this, Nigeria wíll never develop. Tinubu is the man.
I didn't vote him the last time. If possible, I will vote him 100 times in 2027.

It is now clear that the man knows what he is doing. A good economy will strengthen our Naira naturally.

IPOB dullard. I see you don't understand the meaning of analogy and it's use. No surprise considering your empty head can only process issues to do with terrorism, bigotry and hate. Mumu.

I've helped you with the meaning and typical use of analogy below. Olodo. This is the worst thing about the Internet. It gives so many riff raffs and ignoramuses voice and trolling power.

Don't mind the desperados. Let them be masturbating online thinking PBAT is done. They forget politics is about permanent interest. Nowhere more so than in Nigeria.

They think in 2027, with only four years to go before Tinubu hands over to a Northerner, all ambitious Northern Leaders, actually in office and able to influence voting, will just sit and watch an Atiku, Obi and God-knows-who alliance truncate their own personal ambition of working for a PBAT win with the intention of profiting politically after Tinubu leaves office in 2031?

If Obi wins, that is 8 possible years for the South and another 8 years before the North can sniff power. If Atiku or Kwankwaso win then possibly another 8 years for the ambitious young turks in the North, hoping to replace Tinubu, to wait when they are eager to retire Atiku and co so that it can be their time to shine.

Fairly simply concept jokers and desperate clowns cannot grasp. Personally I am not big on 2027 talk because progress for Nigeria is what matters most to me. Meaning I'd rather Tinubu keeps working undistracted rather than negatively focused too much on power retention. Yet I know it will not exactly be a Herculean or impossible task for PBAT to retain power, in 2027, in a nation where permanent political interests always carries the day.

Reforms grin in 6 years time, we will all see the deformities in full glare. I laugh if anyone still believe in a Nigerian politician. They are only reforming the source of their wealth grin

Dullard. You are a reflection of the many failings of over-subsidized Nigeria, delivering mediocrity and inadequacy everywhere, that Tinubu is trying to turn around.

Your functional illiteracy, for example, stems from cheap and worthless subsidized education producing Nigerian University 'graduates' who are not as knowledgeable as primary school children in the West.

That inadequate education is the reason you can claim Tinubu's policies "devalued" a currency hideously overvalued previously in relation to its true innate strenght and convertibility.

If you had the robust education available to others outside Nigeria you would know that Tinubu's policy did not "devalue" the Naira. Floating the Naira simply exposed it real value predicated on the strength, or lack thereof, of the Nigerian economy.

Previous Presidents subsidized the Naira to give it artificial value they assume will make it more competitive and convertible. Wrong.

A President determined to do thing things the right and most productive way will insist, even if punitive via inflation etal in the short term, on letting economic reality alone define the value of the Naira so we accept and return to a truly reflective baseline value of the Naira, as a nation, and then work to deliver socio-economic solutions that will make the Naira a truly valuable and convertible currency in the global arena.

It is a fairly simple concept past Presidents of Nigeria, lacking in ambition and vision, were too ignorant or lazy to pursue.

What innate strength, for example, do you want the Naira to have when we have trade deficit with most nations? I.e import far more finished goods and even services from them than we export? How can the Naira be innately high in true value, predicated on a strong economy, when we have an undiversified mono-economy almost entirely dependent on crude sales for income? Olodo.

You are an example of the sort of Nigerians belonging in the bin because you are near illiterate and worthless as a thinker or solutions-provider yet you insist on shouting uncouthly and insulting others instead of trying to educate yourself, and learn from others far more knowledgeable than you, so you can be more useful to your family, society and nation.

Read below to note that the most convertible currencies in the world are a "store of value". What store of value, economic or otherwise, does the Naira have for you illiterates to expect it be competitive and high against the dollar, pounds, Euros and Yen?

What is the output GDP of those nations and zone (EU) for a Mumu like you to expect Naira stand alongside their currencies in strenght and convertibility? Naira only deserves to trade favourably against the dollar based on the strength of the Nigerian economy.

Anything else is more-of-the-same lazy and unambitious deception from OBJ, Yar Adua, GEJ and Buhari that has gotten us into the mess we are in today.

Kano state is a non-APC state, and it is also in the Northwest region. It still doesn't change the fact that this endorsement of Tinubu's calamitous economic policies was made by the Northwest APC governors.
