1. There is a long history of maltreatment against your airline, of Nigerian engers. These engers include staff of the NCAA.

2. I have advised the enger that unruly behaviour is inexcusable at any airport and she can be blacklisted by the airline, and even pay fines. The NCAA does not condone unruly behaviour.

3. There is no basis to have tried to forcefully delete her video.

4. You should not have allowed her to board your flight from Nigeria IF she was not qualified due to visa requirements. You issued her boarding es and let her leave Lagos.

5. She flew into Nigeria via your airline on the same route.

6. She claims to have called the airline BEFORE paying for the ticket and she was told that she was qualified since she own a BRP.

7. The statements made by your staff were inappropriate for someone in the industry. "Call your president," insinuates a lot.

8. You will be asked to provide CCTV footage showing that she threw her used sanitary towels AT your staff rather than place them on the table when asked by your personnel to provide evidence that she was bleeding.

9. The NCAA has invited your Ag. Station Manager in Lagos to a meeting by 1pm today. We will review all of the issues. Attendance is mandatory.

Kenya Airways Statement on enger Incident at Nairobi (NBO) Transfer Desk

Our attention has been drawn to a social media video showing a verbal exchange between a enger and a Kenya Airways agent at the transfer desk in Nairobi (NBO).

For context:
The guest was traveling from Lagos to Nairobi, Paris, and Manchester. On arrival in Nairobi for her connecting flight (Nairobi-Paris), it was discovered that she did not have a SCHENGEN Visa, which is a requirement for her to enter any European Union Country.
She was offered an alternative to travel through London and onward to Manchester, which she refused.

Upon further investigation, we have established that the video does not provide full context.

Unhappy with this option, the guest demanded accommodation, which Kenya Airways does not provide in cases where boarding is denied due to visa requirements. It is the responsibility of engers to ensure they have the necessary documentation for their journey.

In a distressing turn of events, the guest resorted to inappropriate behaviour by removing and throwing 3 used sanitary pads at our employees.

We strongly condemn such conduct. While we remain committed to delivering exceptional service, we expect all interactions to be based on mutual respect. Our employees deserve to work in a safe and dignified environment, and we do not tolerate any abuse from our employees or guests.

The incident has been reported and is under investigation by the relevant security agencies. We are committed to taking the necessary steps to ensure the well-being and safety of our employees and guests at all times.

Let's hope she didn't do what she was accused of doing.

"Call your President" is not an insult nor is it a derogatory comment. The Yoruba lady said she was calling the minister, and I believe she could also call the president.

I love the way the Yoruba woman reacted. God bless her! What I know and am sure of is that Nigeria is going to be great very soon. That is why every African country is jealous, hating us. However, we, as citizens, sometimes do not help matters. Over the smallest things, we drag our country down on social media, and our negative comments about Nigeria go viral. We should try to always protect the image of our dear nation. We have no other country but Nigeria.

Honestly speaking, they must make them provide proof of this claim.

If it is TRUE, let them provide the cctv footage just as the Nigerian woman backed up her claim with videos.

I don't want to trust their counter response quickly

I am sure they know the pedigree of our Aviation Minister, Festus Keyamo. This is chicken pie compared to the British Authorities vs Air Peace saga. I foresee Kenya Airways tendering an apology quickly. "Call your President" is a statement too big for the mouth of that silly lady.

Good. It is high time we make Nigeria great again. It is no doubt that Nigerians are threat to most citizens of africam counties. They do not like our gut and our success stories in all sphere of human endeavour. IT, edication, sport, music, film, etc. Therefore, as a Nigeria, be ready for all sort of condescending behaviour from low self esteem africans.

I have faced a sort of harrasment at OT airport, South Africa where a police officer demanded to see my port after checkout. I affirmatively denied his request by questioning is jurisdiction in that regard. He was taken aback by my gut and said to me "I KNOW YOU ARE A NIGERIA" I asked him to and get busy that i am not his prey.

We need to begin tonlet them realise that we are not in thr same league.

Naija will be great again.

Why is this news for crying out loud? If you are exchanging words with someone, is it really out of place to say heated words that include "Call your president".

Or am I missing out on something?
