Prostration that don’t solve Nigerians problems

God. In my next life. If you make me a Nigerian. I will kill myself as soon as I regain consciousness and you will make me again. Na u go tired

Here we go again with tribal impotent men competing for the biggest tool.

Was Ojukwu not a coward for running away to Abidjan after leading millions of Igbos to a senseless slaughter? Did he not continue his cowardice by returning home after Shagari's pardon to NPN for the frustration of the southern alliance between Zik and Awolowo?

BizBooks:
Soon after Ojukwu returned from exile in 1982, he ed the National Party of Nigeria
(NPN), a pre-dominantly Hausa/Fulani political party. To say that Ojukwu’s decision then
was a shocker will simply be an understatement. But looking back at that decision 30 years
later, it now seems logical if not popular.

Back in 1982, Nigeria had 5 major political parties namely: The People’s Redemption Party
(PRP), a marginal northern party headed by Mallam Aminu Kano with strongholds in Kano
State. The Great Nigeria People’s Party (GNPP), another marginal northern party headed by
Alhaji Ibrahim Waziri with strongholds in the former Gongola State. Ojukwu couldn’t have
ed the PRP or GNPP for obvious reasons – they were not really viable political parties.

Then there was the Nigeria People’s Party (NPP) headed by Dr Nnamdi Azikiwe. Although Dr
Azikiwe tried very hard to expand the reach of the NPP, it was for all intents and
purposes a semi-marginal party with strongholds in the former Anambra and Imo States with
limited successes in Plateau. Now, most people expected Ojukwu to the NPP on his
return from exile. But considering the events of the civil war, it was naive expecting
Ojukwu to the NPP. If you , Dr Azikiwe vehemently refused to Biafra
during the war rather opting to promote the concept of “One Nigeria”. Ojukwu never forgave
him for that singular action. Even when he came back, he met with most prominent Igbo
leaders but never met with Zik (at least during the 1982/83 period, but I could be wrong).

The fourth political party was the Unity Party of Nigeria (UPN) headed by Chief Obafemi
Awolowo. The UPN was a pre-dominantly Yoruba party with strongholds in the old western
states of Lagos, Ogun, Oyo, Ondo and Bendel. Again considering the events of the civil
war, one would not expect Ojukwu to a party headed by Chief Awolowo.

That leaves the fifth and final party – the National Party of Nigeria (NPN) headed by
Alhaji Shehu Shagari. The NPN was a powerful northern party with strongholds in several
states in the north. It was the equivalent of today’s PDP in scope and size. The inclusion
of the two other northern parties (PRP and GNPP) did not dilute their influence in local
and federal elections. They won the presidency in 1979 and 1983. Soon after Ojukwu ed
the NPN, there was widespread speculation that ing was one of the conditions of his
pardon.

If you , the negotiations for Ojukwu’s return from exile went on between him and
high-ranking of the NPN
- the ruling party. So it will not be hard to imagine them
telling him “we will allow you to return from exile on the condition that you our
party”. To sweeten the deal, it was believed they also promised to return to him, his
father’s landed properties which were several. As you may , Ojukwu’s father was
among Nigeria’s first millionaires. His properties were ceased after the war.

Sadly Ojukwu’s hip of the NPN cost him a lot of goodwill in the east at least in
the short term. People stopped showering him with the greeting “Onye ije nno (which
translates to “Welcome, Traveller”) and started calling him “Ogboso 1” (which translates
to “The Runaway”). He even suffered the humiliation of losing a senatorial election in
1983 to Dr Edwin Onwudiwe, a little known politician. However, Ojukwu’s involvement with
the NPN ended abruptly with the overthrow of the Shagari regime in 1983. His image was
gradually rehabilitated over the years reaching it’s climax at the time of his death.

P.S: I have great interest in Nigerian history from independence to the fall of
Buhari/Idiagbon (1985). That interest is purely academic. Unfortunately, it is difficult
to engage in an academic discussion of Nigerian history on NL without having it derailed
by persons with questionable motives.

Stop associating yoruba with cowardice, yoruba has history of victories in battles from 500 years up to the recent Fulani war of " Jalumi" and to help the federal force to defeat the Biafra. If there is any native tribe that has any history of conquest in Nigeria, is yoruba.

T-Pain's slavish asslicking of Fulanis has erased all memories of Jalumi war around Osogbo.

Can it be that T-Pain is not Yoruba but an impostor from Borgu

When Funke Olakurin, daughter of Afenifere leader, Pa Reuben Fasoranti was murdered instead of Bola Tinubu to make sure that the perpetrators were brought to book, he ended up making fun of the death of the young lady by turning everything into tribalism by showing his hates for Igbos.

Tinubu has never spoken against the deadly activities of Fulani herdsmen across the country

https://twitter.com/i/status/1150428613751320577

Mrs Olakunrin died of gunshot wounds in July 2019 after her vehicle was attacked by armed men, suspected to be marauding Fulani bandits whose violent activities had reached a frightening level across the southwest states.

Those arrested suspects include Lawal Mazaje, 40, from Felele area of Kogi State; Adamu Adamu, 50, from Jada area of Adamawa State; Mohammed Usman, 26, from Illela area of Sokoto State and Auwal Abubakar, 25, from Shinkafi area of Zamfara State....

However, the leader of the team, identified only as Tambaya, and three others are yet to be found.

Tambaya has been declared wanted by the police and he is said to be capable of communicating in Hausa, Fulfude and Pidgin English.

So Biden was also disdained everywhere for rigging Trump out using postal votes?

Same Democrat tried killing Trump last year during his campaign. No one will give you power cheaply or freely grin
Late Sanni Abacha ed his name in the list of Nigeria presidents and his family will forever be enjoying the benefits.

Tinubu is Nigeria President either you like it or not tongue

The ebiNpawa wailers queuing up for extreme poverty crumbs at Bourdillon regularly like their Yorubalokan president as he is .
Their Stockholm syndrome situation won't let them expect government jobs to provide what progressives do- free education for all children, free basic healthcare for all residents, water supply to all houses etc.

The eyesore on Bourdillon Road
2nd January 2025

Beyond his neighbours, there is something about the sight of people hanging around a president’s residence that does not speak well of his leadership capabilities. Maybe no one has nudged him to see it, but the impression that spectacle on Bourdillon Road generates is that Tinubu enjoys the sight of suffering humans and thrives in—and through— their poverty.

If all these years, impoverished people hang around you and you remain comfortable enough to keep them just so they can be handed tokens of your large heart, then it means you have a pro-poverty mindset. Such a frame of mind is oriented toward cultivating poverty rather than stimulating abundance. That is why he could unproblematically relate the story of his “friend” who went from using five Rolls Royce to a far-less valued car and not consider the import of the nonsense he was saying. That spurious was an indication that this is a man for whom poverty—of others, not himself—is an ideal.

He has done his worst in 2023, APC lost Osun & Lagos but still RIGGED presidency so what exactly did he need baba Kabiru for again?

T-Pain did not need to rig the election as it was rigged in his favour by politically clueless Pandora Bitter Obi and his tribal headless mob in the five south yeastern states where he got almost 100%.

Whenever anyone thinks of APC continuing hardship under ebilokan, they should think of lynching the agulu fraudster.

jameshankss:
Anambra State Governor, Professor Chukwuma Soludo, has said he is sure the candidate of Labour Party (LP), Mr Peter Obi, would lose the 2023 presidential election. Soludo said he would not submit to the bullying of Obi’s ers, who recently descended on him for addressing issues in the state.

The governor made the comments in a lengthy write-up personally authored, with the title, “History Beckons, and I Will Not Be Silent (Part 1).”

Soludo said Obi was inadvertently making the pathway to victory much easier for the presidential candidate of All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu, and at the same time, toying with the destiny of millions of Ndigbo.

But the chief spokesperson for the Labour Party Presidential Campaign, Yunusa Tanko, accused Soludo of being sponsored by some unknown persons to weaken the base of the party in the South-east.

The former CBN governor had been under intense attack for close to a week for dismissing Obi’s investment in the state as amounting to nothing, during a television interview.

Soludo said in the write-up, “My attention has been drawn to some of the tirades on social media following my frank response during an interview on Channels TV regarding the ‘investments’ Mr. Peter Obi claimed to have made with Anambra State revenues.

“Sadly, several of the comments left the issue of the interview to probe or suggest motives, inferred from my response on ‘investment’ that I am opposed to Peter Obi’s ambition and, therefore, committed a ‘crime’ for which the punishment is internecine abuse and harassment, even to my family.

“Everyone knows that I don’t follow the winds or one to succumb to bullies, or shy away from a good fight especially, when weighty matters of principles and future of the people are involved.”

Soludo said he had urged Obi to return to his former party, the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), to actualise his presidential bid. He added that he had always told the LP candidate to his face that he was not capable of winning the 2023 presidential election, especially, under LP, which had neither a councillor nor a local government chairman.

Soludo said Obi was not just his friend, but also his brother, but despite that, they have their political differences.

He stated, “For full disclosure, let me state that Peter Obi and I are not just friends, we call ourselves ‘brothers’. But we have political differences: he left APGA for PDP after his tenure as governor, while I have remained in APGA since 2013.

“During the last two governorship elections in Anambra in 2017 and 2021, he led the PDP campaigns but APGA won landslide in both elections. By the way, in 2016, he visited and proposed that I defect to PDP and contest the 2017 election against the incumbent Willie Obiano, but I declined.

“After my victory in November 2021, he called to congratulate me, as I did to him in 2010. That is the Anambra way: we fight fiercely during campaigns but share drinks at the next social events. After all, it was the Great Zik of Africa, who taught us that in politics, there are no permanent friends or permanent enemies but only permanent interests.”

Arguing that Obi’s presidential bid would only work in favour of Tinubu, Soludo said, “Indeed, if I were Asiwaju Tinubu, I would even give Peter Obi money as someone heading one of the departments of his campaign, because Obi is making Tinubu’s pathway to victory much easier by indirectly pulling down PDP.”

Obi, according to Soludo, would only deplete the votes of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and pave the path for an APC victory.

He stated, “The current fleeting frenzy, if not checked, will cost Ndigbo dearly for years. The South-east has the lowest number of votes of any region, but it is also the only region where the presidential race might be a four-way race (it is a two-way race in the other five regions) thereby, ensuring that our votes won’t count in the making of the next president of Nigeria.

Why compare Biden or Trump to Tinubu?
Did you read anywhere that any of them forged certificates, falsify their age, bribed judiciary, peddle hard drugs etc?

Those are some of the reasons Tinubu will remain illegitimate. As for me or any law-abiding citizen, an illegitimate president is NOT a president.

Go and check previous Nigerian presidents even as useless as Buhari was, he carried more respect than Tinubu globally

Even the ECOWAS that he chairs, no one regards him.
