Lol.. Mr T,

In your hurry to blame Indians, you publicly shared a video that links directly to your known profile. I pointed that out to you and rather than being grateful and quietly deleting it, you're huffing and puffing. It's like posting my port here and accusing someone of looking at it. Hehe

If you were not so preoccupied with hating Indians, you might have noted that earlier. The fact you still sound aloof is rather surprising.

BTW, the links you posted are still on here and anyone in the world can click on them and get back to your profile. Are you now going to do the sensible thing and shamefully remove your hate-filled videos?

Did I put it here?
Rule 10 of Nairaland code of conduct clearly state do not post people's personal info without their consent.

I share links from Instagram all the time here. That doesn't give U the right to share my personal info it here.

That U have access to your patient's record doesn't give U the right to release it without their consent.

I didn't give U consent to share my info here.

I expect even someone with a low I.Q to respect that.

And I'm not hating on Indians, I have shared disorderliness commited by non Indians including blacks.

I'm waiting for the mods to take action against U b4 I take my own action against U

People's privacy is your right to respect.

Lol... Rabble ro abi Indian fighter. You're not even bold enough to say what everyone knows you had in mind. Comparing confidentiality with publicly available data- one you even put up. Please share more from Instagram and while at that also include your phone number, address and banking details.

I see you've scurried off to ammend your post. That's a good learning point for you to which I expect some gratitude. Unfortunately, your video link (not personal data) has been quoted by a few people already. Imagine the number who could click on it it future. Some lessons are tough Mr. T. grin

Dude, you are far gone. Far gone! Not only has the disinformation caught up with you, it looks like it's starting to affect the way you also see political issues. Videos like these are cheap attempts by the disinformation crowd and vocal Trumpians to control public opinion and propagate threats that are not real in any way, shape or form. The supposed threat here is an indian takeover or third world behaviour because this does not supposedly happen in Canada normally. What the recorder didn't tell you nor include in the video is that there was a supposed death or some major incident at the LRT station just at the stop and the huge (note: huge) number of people that had been waiting for the light rail had to make do with the provided shuttle service. Not only did they have to wait long for that service to come, more people also ed in that interval at this very peak hour. So, it made sense that there should be that kind of rush when a bus finally showed up. For people who had been waiting long and yearning to go home quickly, who wouldn't rush for the bus?

Of course, the video made it look like all the folks present there were all indians, so they behaved like they were in New Delhi. That's far from the truth. It's easy to see in that mix a number of whites, blacks, indians, etc. Everyone rushed for the bus. So, what exactly is the point here? It's not like the Indians rushed for the bus, while the whites waited? How do you guys even share videos like this to reaffirm the confirmation bias you need to start wrongly judging a whole set of people?

And then, this is not the first time something like this is happening. There's no New Delhi shit happening here. People, normal people, will shove and push for space on the bus when there's limited space or service. It's the law of the survival of the fittest, which is only human. Or how would you explain another video like this from the TTC widely available on Tiktok and comprised mostly of white Canadians? . Or many more such videos all across urban cities in Canada? You guys need to give up this subtle narrative of "third world colonization" that makes very little sense. At the end of the day, according to Statistics Canada, there's only 21% visible minority population in Canada (including aborigines and those born here). So, white canadians are still very much in majority, still control most of the country's politics and industry. So, what exactly is the fear? And why exactly the fear for a black person like you? Wake up!

I am not diminishing reported racist experiences you had which have left you bitter.

However, you'd struggle to get wider/rational engagement on this issue if you are more focused on using slurs/spreading hate. Even leaders of civil right movement knew how to about rallying . If we can't/wouldn't say it in person, then we shouldn't write it online

My question which you've failed to answer is this: what are you doing about it? And in same vein, what should we do about it?

P.s. Easy with the threats. It might seem an anonymous forum but as we've seen, every now and again, people expose their identity and stuff can be traced back to you.

Defender of the Indian ppl lol...

On a serious note though, when I say the woman life will "spoil" , it's more of the reputational damage she will suffer upon being identified as the woman who did that despicable act
When that boy comes out of jail, he will be out fir retribution

And as for the fight to finish thingy, it is what it is...
Anyone who is a northern resident already know that this is happening. and tensions are high between black folks and indians here, especially at the work place
Even some agencies know that pairing up Nigerians and Indian folks can easily go left
That's the reality

What is tracing these statements back to Rodgers gonna do to me? lol..
police arresting me?
for expressing thoughts ?
lol

PS
Calling out B.S. is NOT hate
I don't hate Indian ppl, Heck i don't even care about them. But that won't stop me from calling the bad actors in their midst out when the opportunity presents itself

These same ppl you are defending vehemently were on the MAGA train months ago demonising blacks and latinos, thinking they were "assostant white ppl "
Cheering the "dogs and cats" situation for Haitians and the shameful pile of garbage. joke on Puerto Ricans
Now that they have turned on them with the "jeet" / "pajeet" slurs, they get zero sympathy from me and other sensible ppl.

They need that reality check ✔️

It was actually very smooth and I wasn’t asked for POF. I was also anxious about this and ‘was ready’.

The unsigned COPR and other documents as listed were asked for.

See mentality. Rushing bus and causing stampede.
If someone gets crushed to death in the stampede, what will be the excuse? We want to get home on time.

The funny thing is this same guy will condemn Ibadan and Anambra people for not being civilised enough during the fatal stampede that occured during Xmas.

Besides U need to go back and read my posts again. I did not target or single out any race, ethnicity, or religious sects in my criticism here.

Until the lions have their historians, tales of the hunt shall always glorify the hunter.

True- we need to get into the right places and build wealth, open/run businesses, become landlords (controversial, but needed), restaurant chains, franchises, investment banking e.t.c. People might not like you, but they'd respect your cash. For example, despite having a good diasporean community, there are not many Nigerian restaurants abroad. Talk more of exquisite ones- i.e places where you could book a dinner and take workplace colleagues to experience top- notch Nigerian cuisine. Even in England, you'd hardly find a Nigerian restaurants where other top ones are located.

It takes time and we need the critical mass but we also need to be ploughing in the right direction.

We need this urgently, this rat race won't help us a group.

Aptly said. Thanks for bringing some common sense into this.

The chap who shared the video is too cowardly to even say what everyone knows he wanted to say. At least, his overlords on Twitter are able to speak their mind. He who copies them shivers into cowardice.

We should be looking to improve ourselves not pointing fingers in the air. My first foray here was reminding one how unapologetic I was about migration and as a Brit moving to Canada was hardly a privilege- its more of an entitlement.
I wonder what all these people would say if most of recent migrants to Canada were of white skin- perhaps, they'd be chorusing 'master, master thanks for coming'. We can argue pros and cons of migration but resorting to hate and racist language is where I draw the line.

First lets revisit things-
1. You posted your instagram link (which declares your details) with a view to spread hate. I pointed that out to you.
2. You saw my post but was cowardly silent as expected and I had to raise attention again to your folly before you came out huffing and puffing.

Mr. T, I would give you a little secret in bring taken seriously - you don't repeat threats, you do what you want.

4. I have never been so confident about the inabilty of someone to do anything as I am in you case. I used the ward inability cos even if I give you all the resources, you lack it within you to do anything sensible.

6. Finally, I don't have the headspace to keep engaging you on this so I would make it easy. I give you 3 months to do something sensible- if you are able to, you have £1000 on me.
Because I am quite certain that you would do nothing, I might look to remind you of your cowardice again before this time runs out.

Its just like Brits who thought Europeans coming over was the issue. Now they've stopped coming, is UK any better? We should see the bigger picture here and not zone in on microcosms of hate

I wonder what happens to nvidia when the Chinese inevitably start building and selling their own chips for much lower cost and better efficiency. America cannot rely on bans to keep ahead- from Huawei, to Tiktok, to EVs and now AI chips. They need to keep innovating.

I know someone with Arts(?) background in Nigeria who is in the final year of a BSN program in Canada (Saskatchewan precisely). She has 2 kids less than 5 years old and had her second whilst ed in this program!

You can do it, Sister!

Here is my little bit....

1) Research, research. This is a no brainer. What is their fees/tuition like? Experiential learning opportunities? What AES accommodation do they have? This is important especially if you have kid(s) to drop at the daycare at 8am and lecture starts at 8am. If you are ed with AES, they can record or make other arrangements for you.
Compare multiple LPN programs if there are multiple institutions offering it in your area.
This may not pertain to you but looking at out-of-province/city LPN programs is also something some people may be willing to explore.

2) Money! Money answereth all things. If it is a thing, money will most probably make it all easy. How will you finance this career pivot? Student loan +/- grant? Some provinces allow both to not be mutually exclusive now. Some also charge interest after you have completed the program whilst some do not. How about some part time job? As a student caregiver, you can with alto (https://findalto.com/careers). There is a lot of flexibility in being able to choose jobs.

3) system. Look for friends ed in the program who share the-same objective, background etc. You should not have to look too far. If it were courses like Vet Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy - e fit be only 'you' but LPN, you will have the luxury of being around lots of folks.

4) As you start the program, you are bringing experience and perspective from multiple continents. No gree for anyone o and make sure 'you know your stuff'!

5) Lastly, I know you have already been divinely inspired on the choice of LPN so this may be for someone else. How about a Bachelor of Education since we are no longer in a place where the reward of teachers is in heaven? They should be able to transfer some credits from previous degree which will shorten the 4-year BEd program.
I have attached the pay grid for teachers in Saskatchewan below, other provinces' are similar +/- a few thousands. With a freshly minted BEd, it is class 4 level 1 and each year of teaching adds another level. If you have a BEd+M.Ed, it is Class 6 and with 9 years experience it is ~6 figures.
For some people, it is not much and for others, it is the dawn of a new era.
This collective agreement is obsolete though since it's 2years old, there is a freshly minted one in arbitration and it is definitely better.

This is my perspective with the assumptions that the recipient is a parent and a non temporary resident.

I having a discussion here following the recent rape gang uproar as someone was pointing out how immigrants have wrecked the UK.

To be clear, it's an inexcusable event. What is also wrong is rather than addressing root causes, people attach an ethnic colouration to it all in a bid to drive hate. It's also highlights the importance of understanding the reason behind media headlines before reposting.

The Rotherham scandal which Musk resurrected happened over a decade ago, it was investigated and had a 7year enquiry with recommendations submitted to the last government. That same government refused to act on recommendations for over 2yrs while they remained in power. Now, they are out of power, they are looking to instigate the whole issue and are calling for another 7yr inquiry. Of course, with a new inquiry sitting, the issue would always be in the news and they'd keep painting an ethnic colouration to it to drive up an anti-immigrant agenda without nothing actually being done to prevent a recurrence. Thats dubious and its good the current government saw thru it which people still looked for a way to spin.

What they didn't say was how has also been committed by white gange to little uproar
Now a new group has just been convicted. Reading through, crimes are too horrific to posy. Where is Musk’s uproar about 'white gangs'? why is the opposition not asking about an enquiry or calling perpetrators 'Scottish rapists'? Why is the opposition not pushing for an inquiry? Or are they not equally worried about the victims?
This just highlights another reason to read through headlines so as not to be a tool in the hands of media houses.

Good Evening,

Please does anyone one know the process for getting NIN for a family? Adults and kids? Do we have to travel to Nigeria to get it or is there an authorized center that does it in Canada? We are based in the GTA.

The second phase of the question regards Nigerian ports renewal. Has anyone gotten their port renewed recently? What was the process like? I understand that the system has been revamped.

Thanks in advance.

Random question for those who have been in Canada for years.

If money wasn't an issue, what parts of Canada would you choose to live?

I'm looking at proximity to excellent secondary schools both public and private? - Topmost priority
Low /No crime
Leafy ish
Jobs fairly available ( not an issue)
Decent levels of diversity.
Accessible transport.

I have always prioritised the area I live in above everything.. In my experience, the leafier an area is, the higher the school standards and that for me is extremely important if you have school age kids. I don't know if it's the same in Canada.

Canada Foreign Affairs Minister Mélanie Joly, Public Safety Minister David McGuinty, and Immigration Minister Marc Miller are all in the U.S. capital, making a final diplomatic push, begging Republican lawmakers and Trump’s team to sway the president. Trump has signaled he’s prepared to impose 25% tariffs on Canadian imports as early as Saturday.

Please ,But what happened to a great country like Canada that it seems unable to survive economically without the U.S., despite all the immigrants pouring in yearly? What is happening to Canada's economy that some people are now calling from Canada, asking for money from people in Nigeria? What's going on with the job market in Canada? some of us are still planning to relocate to Canada ,make person no go sell his properties and business and go face Shege pro max in Canada!!!
