Only? That means UCAP performed even better. A ₦10 million investment in UCAP in 2020 should be worth over ₦400 million today.

The tachere I bought at 2.6 in 2020—I know how much it's worth today.

And you've not sold since then? I envy you o

The company is doing well but given current market conditions I feel the stock has priced in the performance.

Thanks for this analysis

EPS increased from 20k in 2020 to N6.60k in 2024. That is over 100% compounded annualized earning growth rate

Going forward I assume a compounded annualized earning growth rate of 30% for the next 5 years

Justified forward PE should not be less than 12

I wanted to sell last year or the year before. In one of my posts just before the split, I asked whether I should sell and invest in Sukuk or hold, considering the stock was paying me about half of my initial investment in dividends at the time. Some suggested I should sell, as the stock would likely dilute post-split.

Anyway, I finally decided to hold. I wish I had bought more in 2020—that would have been a jackpot for me. I shouldn’t have gone for the 2027 Sukuk that pays 11.6%.

I am waiting to equally see chams results. Just my thoughts, stop dropping stock anyhow going forward. When you sense jijo stock buy and enjoy your ride.Or be dropping it coded to avoid too many name calling.
I no dey ready again to help anyone make or loose money because it adds no value to me..I have taken new position in some stocks in my jijo
portfolio as results come out for 2025 while I rebalance my investment portfolio

I have learnt today that there are two types of portfolio, namely: Jijo portfolio and investment portfolio.

Even investment gurus and fund managers in the corporate world would marvel at the investment terminologies used on NSEMPA. grin

I am not expecting any dividend from chams in 2024 operations but I expected PAT of N1.5B . Nevertheless they tried.
There are some things to find out from this result as Q3 revenue was same as Q4.

I pray that God grants all of us good health. Without a good healthy life, none of our investments is safe.
I pray none of us will experience any health or other emergency that could push or compel us to sell off our stocks prematurely to incur losses.

Words on marble. Without good health, everything else in life is meaningless including investment. It is when one falls so sick and on hospital bed that one realizes that health is the most important thing in life.

- Unaudited Statements: Results are provisional and subject to adjustments.
- Non-Controlling Interest (NCI): Increased to ₦4.80B, reflecting subsidiary performance.

Chams Holding demonstrated strong growth in revenue and profitability, backed by operational efficiency and segmental strength. But, rising debt, receivables, and persistent retained earnings deficits warrant caution.

To be fair, they're trying. At least they're improving their atrocious gross margins, most likely due to changing revenue mix with a shift away from commoditized card printing.

If I were management, I'd quickly raise new equity and continue to reinvent the business like so. Might take 5 years, but if existing shareholders are so Cham'd that they're willing to pay for a low-margin business, you should oblige them. grin

It sounds like you're experiencing a delay in receiving the proceeds from selling your Japaul stocks on the Meritrade platform. The customer care agent mentioned that your is set up for Direct Cash Settlement, which means the funds should be transferred to your bank within three working days.

Since today is January 31st, 2025, and you sold the stocks on January 24th, 2025, you're right to expect the funds by now. Here are some steps you can take:

- Meritrade's Customer Care Again: Reach out to the customer care team and inquire about the status of your payment. They may be able to provide more information or escalate the issue.
- Check Your Bank : Double-check your bank to ensure that the funds haven't been deposited yet. Sometimes, delays can occur due to banking processes.
- Your Details: Ensure that your bank details are correctly ed with Meritrade. Any discrepancies might cause delays or issues with the payment.

If you're still unable to resolve the issue, you may want to consider ing the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NGX) or the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) for further assistance.
