No company in Nigeria can pay you such amount monthly unless your business is recording a tremendous amount of success or you're earning in USD.

That's the only way you can hit the 1m mark monthly.
There are companies paying way more than that to their top managers.

Even bankers in our conventional banks make more than a million. Assistant Managers and above make more and they are many of them. FCMG too pay well.

Let me advice you, don't be bothered about what you hear or see around you. Just tell yourself what you want and that is where it starts.

About 19years ago as a final year student, I tell my friends I wasn't going to start with less than N120k. Immediately I graduated, even before my set went for service, I had switched jobs within two banks without knowing anyone. In my second interview, I told my I was interested in working for only 4.5years as my intention was to be a professor. And at that nick of time, I left to graduate school but chose to go back to industry after my PhD.

I am writing this to encourage you so that you can be assured that opportunities abound greatly.

Everyone working in a company I previously worked with in Nigeria earns more than 1M per month currently. Even technicians in oil service companies earn more than 1M now. 1M is less than 700$. Which is less than 7 days hazard allowance for expats coming to work in port Harcourt due to high security risks. Oh yea. Oil and Gas personnel earning 1M per month are low earners.

Look at this guy. How much is 1 million sef?

Just so you know there are people in Nigeria who earn a monthly salary of over 5million a month and these people are not even the Managing Director of the company where they work!
Not Managing director, but they are amongst the management of the company, which makes them extremely connected or they have spent many years in the industry thereby using the yrs to gain promotions and connections. Or better still, they are Contractors in the company (especially the experience tech guys)

yea, thanks. But lemme ask you were you a garri soaker when growing up.? One who wasn’t brought up under the abject poverty circumstances can never in any way settle for less. Na your standards give you moral. Candidly speaking, I am not speaking for myself as such but for the rest of the underprivileged Nigerians. Determination comes from the family where one came from. There are even many masters who are jobless, was it not determination that got them there.? What I am saying in essence is that, that mark in earning and above it, is for the well to do in the society. There are informations that will never go out of their circle. Even if one wants to learn a powerful skill that will earn good money, no be small money in funding oneself into it, the idea on how to go about it alone, if not mentored properly na to drop out forget am.

It is only God’s natural gift that can only raises someone from the status of grass to grace and na still by God’s grace. Majority are Bleep up already. Not even all who are abroad are thanking God in of value. If not for basic necessities being rest assured there..!

The rich can brag home and abroad.

Even the bank you talking about, na still connection. If by luck, how many of such kinds

yes. You’re very correct and I know that as well. But all am saying is that it is a circle of the rich, well to do in the society. Ri to that bench mark as an average Nigerian is close to not possible. If one is there, one is there. Same as vice versa.

That is why you hear people come here to say that they have a couple of friends who earn more than that! Those are the rich guys speaking. ..

If you’re struggling to earn a 100k in a month, I and you won’t be arguing. And there are many graduates like this. And have tried many things. In fact jack of trades..!

Being a businessman or woman is the way to go but it is not everybody who is going to be a business person...

Most people would take a white collar job over business anytime, any day...

I have tried to eject my lil bro. from his salaried job to come and learn one of my businesses, but dude is hell-bent because he receives 250k monthly...

He has been in that company for 10 years now, and na 250k dem don increase him salary to...

But dude dey do some side runs wey dey give am extra funds without touching salary, maybe na wetin dey keep am there be that...

This lil dude is 35yo and him suppose dey earn millions by now, but wetin person go do?

Na to just leave am with him career...

Na only ur handwork, skills and businesses me I know say fit give u over a million naira monthly...

I know nothing about una monthly office work - blah blah blah...

Social media is also one of the hotcakes if u sabi ur way, plus some IT shitt...

People earning millions a month are mostly not the white-collar jobbers...

Except the bosses, and before u go reach that boss level for una office, fire go don swallow fire...

I understand where you come from. However, with the presence of the Internet, information has been democratised and is universal. Laptops and phones are now cheaper than ever before. The issue I see is location and the determination. Some people have the phobia to change locations which could be, and actually is, very critical to their future success.

I had a friend who made a first class and was always lamenting of being called for aptitude tests in Lagos whereas he was based in Aba. The constant travelling and costs made him resigned from job hunting and decided to travel to Dubai to "hustle" (as I was told since we parted ties). However, I had another female acquaintance who was and is based in Lagos - so no excuses for aptitude tests - but wasn't informed of the many opportunities in the industry she was in. Meanwhile, I have another senior classmate who moved to Lagos, did his MSc at UNILAG and has worked in different corporations, and is doing very well. In a few years time, I believe he too will earn a million naira (the industry isn't that lucrative compared to finance or oil and gas). Yet again, I've another who moved to Abuja and got a sales role. Unlike the first three I mentioned, this lass had a second class lower, but she earns more than a million naira and got a company car and accommodation..

Two things characterise everyone: determination and location.

Everyone's destiny is in their own hands.

As exemplified here: the highest paying industries are oil and gas, finance and tech.

Just as I penned a few years ago, quant/math based courses are the most lucrative both in Nigeria and across the world. If you want to earn a lot of money as a skilled career professional, please learn mathematics.

Name the company that pays such. Nigerian owned company. Most of you guys on this site make claims you can't defend.

If you must know, most entry level jobs in Nigeria today range from between 150k-200k

To even earn 500k sef you'll have spent a considerable number of years and gained relevant experience.

Una go just de argue for nothing.

How many Nigerian owned companies have declared sustained profit in the last 3 years that they want to pay their staffs 1m and above?
stop this your blind arguments... Years ago when I was in the banking sector, my branch head pockets over 1m monthly. If I was still there, I would be at 500k or more per month. Glad I left!

It is doable if you plan towards it and ready to acquire the right skills.

To achieve a 1million naira monthly income in Nigeria is not easy for young beginners but it's doable if you leverage on the opportunities that internet and social media provides today.

Easiest route is to buy and sell something people need using social media platforms and e-commerce websites. You just need to be focused and make research to know the trending products and cash in immediately and move to the next.

Many young Nigerians make more than that via mini Importation, buying and selling things online.

Another way is to calm down and learn a good and in demand digital skill, then be consistent in promoting your skill after you have learned and honed it, with time you will start getting jobs to do on freelance, from there you move up the ladder.

Social media marketing and advertising is also another great way to make money online and earn big if you master it well and become an expert in it.

I can't how many young Nigerian guys I don't even know that have reached out to me seeking for patronage to help me promote my brands using their social media platforms and I can patronizing three on different occasions, though only one produced good result. So you can figure out how they do it and cash in on that too. If those guys get 4 clients like me in a month, they will hit the 1million naira income you made mention of.

In summary, your financial success in life depends on your vision and how well you plan and follow up your plan with action. You cannot achieve what you cannot visualize, that's the truth about life. If you set your eyes on earning 1million naira a month and start to work towards things that will earn you that, believe me, in a matter of time you will forget you ever struggled to earn that. I speak from experience.

Wishing you and others Godspeed but please say no to fraud and scam

barely advantageous on the side of the male folks. As for the Female folks definitely I will agree to that. Males rise on grounds of outright connection. Determination and location change little or nothing at all with the male folks. From all you have said it’s clear as well! Same as myself, I can relate too. Most of my male friends after school (uni) are doing well as a result of backgrounds, the females asides background marriage and relationships raise them to ladders. If a beautiful and intelligent well dressed lady goes for an interview, her chances are high! Unlike the males, who send you!

As a man, if ones family ain’t well to do, chances are slim. Those who go into fraud is a result of this. Making by hook or by crook! Money no dey talk where e come from..!
