Name the company that pays such. Nigerian owned company. Most of you guys on this site make claims you can't defend.

If you must know, most entry level jobs in Nigeria today range from between 150k-200k

To even earn 500k sef you'll have spent a considerable number of years and gained relevant experience.

Una go just de argue for nothing.

How many Nigerian owned companies have declared sustained profit in the last 3 years that they want to pay their staffs 1m and above?

Are you talking about Nigeria owned company or companies in Nigeria.

I know more than 50 people that earn over a million per month.

Earning 1m in Nigeria today doesn't mean you are rich. You are just average or even a little bit below average.

This topic has made me realise that there are so many extremely poor people in Nigeria especially on nairaland.

I earn more than that a month and I am still struggling financially.

Yet another braggat.

The question I asked is so simple that even a primary school student can easily answer it.

No one cares if you earn 100m a month. Just list Nigerian owned companies that pay their staffs 1m above. Simple as ABC. Una go de brag up and down.

Have you ever worked in the cooperate world before? To even see 500k there and collect sef na war. And you're here saying you know over 50 people earning over 1m.

Even for foreign companies, if you remove oil companies how many foreign companies can you point that pays up to 1m? Microsoft that even hit the 1m mark has left the country. How many are left. Huge companies like Twitter and Facebook don't have physical offices in Nigeria. So what are you saying?

If you can't name the companies, don't quote me.

No company in Nigeria can pay you such amount monthly unless your business is recording a tremendous amount of success or you're earning in USD.

That's the only way you can hit the 1m mark monthly.
say what you know..most oil workers in big firms earn more than 2m monthly. One of the contracting company managing the nnpc refinery turn around maintenance pays their staffs a basic salary of 1.3m

Don't doubt there are people earning over 1m here. Even with Astropay's shitty exchange rate of $1475 - $1, A million naira is just around $678. For me, I earn mine from social media s selling and smart sports betting. I've seen people (although not Nigerians) making over $40k yearly just from selling social media s or doing smart betting. The major setback is that you are at the mercy of the greedy bookmakers, and rogue social media managements. I can make over 2m in 30 days, with a single 1xbet , but will 1xbet allow me? The answer remains NO
What exactly is the problem here ? Do they ban you after many winnings ?

They will restrict my by reducing my odds and also refuse to pay me when I initiate a withdrawal request.
Try using pinnacle betting

Beating Pinnacle is almost, if not impossible, they are the kings of bookmaking. They respond to market movements in a split second, unlike 1xbet & Co, which takes minutes.

Yes, they either reduce your odds or your stakes. With soft bookies, smart and consistent winners are not welcome. Only the folks that win 10k today and lose 20k tomorrow are welcomed.

Average salary for maritime officers and oil and gas staff is 1m and above.
When I was working in Nigeria, mine was around 1.5m per month and it was a common salary in the industry

Lol...who gives a f*uck about your level. You made a claim and I asked you to defend your claim and you're here beating around the bush forming Elon Musk. Telling me you know over 50 people working in Nigerian companies and earning over 1m. Do you know how useless your naira is currently? What's the turnover of most companies last year that they want to pay you such amount of money.

Typical bragging attitude of the average Nigerian.

emmaodet:

My post clearly stated apart from oil workers. My roommate in school was earning 1.5m monthly in chevron upon graduation. Before he resigned and went to total. So I'm well aware that oil companies workers earn huge.

It's easy for oil companies to pay you such cos most of their transactions are in dollars not naira. Their profit are recorded in dollars. So they can easily afford to give their staffs jumbo pay.

Confidentiality my a$s.

If any ant earns such amount of money, he's obviously the head of that unit and has ICAN, MBA, and other relevant certifications and has spent years gaining experience. Such person would be way over 40.

No company would hire you as a regular ant and pay you 1m and above in today's Nigeria. What is the value of naira currently that a company who's transactions and profits are purely in naira would pay you 1m? Una no de think at all sef.

More rantings without any poof to back up your claims.

I doubt if you've ever worked in the cooperate environment. If you have, you won't be making this blind argument. Do you know how much desiel is? Then electricity, tax, miscellaneous...etc.

Do you know the operational cost of running a company in Nigeria today? Most of these people spend billions monthly to keep the business afloat. What is the current spending power of Nigerians that the company would record ground breaking profit to be able to pay an average staff 1m?

Look at kuda, OPAY and palmpay. These companies have millions of customers and record daily transactions reaching billions of naira. Yet I can tell you that the average salary of their staff isn't up to 300k per month. And you're here talking about 1m.

Like I said you know nothing about the cooperate environment. And this would be my last reply to you.

Double it of course, you just don’t spend raw income, first use it to purchase highly sorted gadgets and double it, then spend part of your profit only. Knowing the value of money is key
