TBB Power has been popping up lately on the forum, do you have info on how to get a distributor?

I thought growatt & srne were some kind of voltronic/axpert system albeit modified.

I went from Growatt to Sako. My experience is that my old growatt charges better. The Sako is still serving well though. But I only wish it would give me the growatt efficiency which I experienced.

I will check if there is a firmware update for the inverter.

Firmware update on top of unofficial Voltronic OS..

Its like expecting latest Android OS update on generic android phones.

Off course, MPPT MPPT....
Some MPPT waster so much power during conversion, because the Buck converters have different grades.

Growatts na better Soup... I have tested some Hybrid MPPT and was surprised to see power wastage.

Erroneously assumed, mppt were generic across board until I started observing that my Sako is not pumping as much juice as anticipated based on my previous experience with Growatt. The Sako has an mppt input range of 90v - 450v while my growatt is 120v - 430v. It doesnt look like the sako mppt range is too wide or different.

Could this still be a potential cause of relative inefficiency.

Hello house 👋🏾

I have a problem with my 8kva felicity inverter and my installer isn’t even coming to check it.

It trips off load all the time. I bought 8 unit of 600W s, only 7 was connected, 1 was broken. At 100% capacity, it supposed to give me 4.2kW but I know that it’s not possible. I’d be receiving 3.5 - 4kW but I don’t get up to 500W total wattage from it. The 4 wet batteries are starplus products.

Now it doesn’t work effectively except I connect it to NEPA, but I should not be on NEPA because I’m not paying for it. I was even disconnected from NEPA which is very much ok, my solar energy system is supposed to be sufficient for me without NEPA.

The installer has refused to show up. What do you advise?

I’m in Lagos, in case you suggest another experienced installer and you can share their with me.

StarPlus is a low-quality tubular battery. That being said, I think you need another installer to check what the other installer did on the roof.

If the 8kVA is of the Felicity hybrid type, and the VoC of the solar is below 50V, the 7 s should be connected in series. Before this is done, the installer should check each individual solar to confirm they are okay. You should get at least 2.5kW from this setup if positioned on the south-facing side of the roof, and the roof inclination is not too steep. The best roof inclination angle is one that is almost flat.

What is the "Best PV range" rating stated for your Sako mppt? It could also because of that.

My Sako hybrid ( wider range series ...30-400VDC) proved to be highly more efficient than my stand alone MPPT CC. The only issue i have with it is the interference with signals.
EduTechTainMent: 6:13am On Jan 17
Dam5reey1:

They are reliable, however, 30-400V MPPTs, are less efficient compared to 120-450V ones

Thanks. Which of the sako products have the more efficient voltage range? I am considering getting both their 12v and 24v hybrid inverters.

If the BMS came with a battery pack reach out to the seller/builder of the battery pack.

But if you got the BMS separately consider reaching the store for the change chances are it was changed from 1234thank you, there's no information from the battery pack say the builder

lol.. abeg how did u conclude the battery is discharging itself... let's start from there

Yes, it’s the felicity hybrid type. Thank you, can you recommend a knowledgeable solar installer in Lagos?

Anyone has any idea on any good servo stabilizer, bought prag 30kva, and it got bad within few months, has anyone used himel or Mercury brand of servo stabilizer??
Please what's the difference. I got QASA 5kva wall stab. It has been a regrettable experience. The stab fluctuates so much that my ecoflow power generator's charging goes off and on. Makes clicking switching sounds sometimes. And the voltage delivery range is so inconsistent.

I recently saw prag and noticed "servo" was attached to it and I'm wondering the difference between them.

There are not Voltronic... Growatts and SRNE has different BMS protocols compared to Voltronic.

i dont trust wall stabs, they are way lighter in weight compared to normal units of same capacity. That clicking sound is the relays, while servo stabs uses a different mechanism, kinda mechanical . Google the differences. I intend buying the qasa 10kva normal unit, weighs 65kg, while prag 15kva wall unit weighs 30kg. That difference dey surprise me..

I've been using my Prag 5kva wall mount stab since 2020 and it has been a bliss.

Pls house, any Sako major distributor in the house pls. I'm having issues with a 3KW sako inverter with random fault (3). When restarted everything seem normal until after some hours. I have observed for days and I concluded it's a factory fault from the inverter. Pls come to my rescue

03 error means battery voltage is high, which may be as a result of overcharge.

Check your charge settings first
