Wildfires aren't so easy to put out.
There are several instances where over 50 firefighters have lost their lives in trying to put out such fires despite spraying large amounts of water even from the air above.
The problem is further exacerbated by global warming issues. It happened in UK, I think about 2 years back where forests just ignite without any actual fire set on them.
