NOTIFICATION OF TARIFF ADJUSTMENT

Dear Valued Customer,

Welcome to 2025!

Our team wish you all a happy and successful New Year. We also wish to inform you that we have recently received approval order from the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC) for an adjustment of electricity tariffs, effective January 1, 2025.

This adjustment will enable us to cushion the effects of recent macroeconomic developments in Nigeria on our ability to continue to deliver high quality of service to our customers in compliance with regulatory standards.

The Order also follows recent public consultations held in late 2024 during the Customers' Forum.

Kindly our dedicated customer care team for inquiry and . Thank you for your and understanding.

Signed,

The increment is much. I used to pay 70 naira and they have increased it to 180 naira.

The band classification is even wrong for our side. Ukwa 33 should be Band E. But they deliberately classified it under band c.

5,000 naira gave me 65.8 kWh on December. So if I want to buy 65.8kwh today, I have to pay 11,844 naira.

Na to adjust seriously. No more ceiling fan, heat no go kill me.

Even the 2 watts, 5 watts energy bulbs I dey leave on at night, I go dey off am.

I when I told close friends like 3 years ago to go solar when solar installments were quite cheap. They laughed it off.

Now petrol and diesel prices are high, power cost is also high but the price for solar installations is also high.

It was bound to happen. APLE is a 100% private entity.

Same as Ossiomo Power Benin.
Same as NESCO Jos.

This aba power has totally destroyed aba, I was thinking they where lucky but alas greediness was still the motive. Professor knows he don't have the capacity yet to supply to 20% ofvthe city but he insisted on taking over the whole system and yet can't even do his job

That is the consequence of living in a shiithole region.

Only the poor and hopeless stay there. Work harder, earn more money and migrate to SW like Peter Obi did grin

I'm waiting for Igb0s to start blaming Tinubu.

Look at this 50% hike now but they won't do anything.

They are always ready to liberate Nigeria but can't liberate their region.

Today is Monday now, they are all going to hidden under their beds.

Oya talk make I post receipt

I can only speak for my area. My feeder is ukwa 33. Light only comes at night and they take it by 6am.

Few areas do have better supply than ours.

The fact is that with all the hype about Abapower commissioning a powerplant, we thought things could have improved much better. But that's not the case.

Abapower is still getting most of its supply from another GENCO.
