Church aside, there are always protocols involved in reversing money paid into a bank . The bank will always investigate both parties to be sure such transfer was genuine error.
&it becomes more difficult if one party claims it was not in error.

Let me ask you. If you sow a seed of 100k in church today, & the next day, you change your mind, can you claim a refund from the church?

what if the person claim it was done under duress? Each case has its peculiarity. On this one, this is a church related activity whr trust, comion and love should speak more and not ordinary business. The pastor has no reason whatsoever to delay repayment. What is he even teaching is congregants?

Not easy to refund money from a church , unless na small church. Plenty of protocols involved.

Of course, before they write letters and get approvals.

The sensible thing to do is establish proof the money was transferred in by the persom demanding the partial refund and transfer it straight away. The lady might just be a yahoo girl who moved funds from a mugu/maga into church and wants to collect 90% without leaving a trail. It might be a trial for a larger sum of money. The identity of the owner is key.
many of u guys here are just pure low iq thinkers

Your point about possibility of fraud is valid, but aside fraud, reversing money paid into a church is usually never straightforward.

I should be able to under normal circumstance and armed with solid proof of ownership.

You will be the one to provide evidence that money was actually obtained from you under duress. Easier said than done.

&yes on moral grounds, the girl deserves a refund.
But legally, it won't be that easy.

Proof of ownership is not enough. You are totally at the mercy of the church to get a refund. grin

Thats trash. The money is still hers. What if she reports to police about a breach of her and says the fraudster is within the church?

This is very simple. The pastor should have transferred a sum of #90,000 to the lady in question after acknowledged the transfer of #100,000 mistakenly as simple as that.

This is serious. The pastor should have refunded the woman. This speaks about one's integrity in the ministry.

bigpicture001 Big lies in RCCG you can't transfer from the church except through cheque you must go to the bank to make any transfer from RCCG because there are other signatories to approved it. So this your story get k-leg:

In this dispensation most you pay tithe? Not compulsory.
Many have turned church to like a business. Keep collecting from you and not giving back to you.

Lols... Heretics and lies from the deepest pits of hell fire!

Even when we drop too many seeds in a hole on the farm when planting, we carefully remove the excess.

She will have to prove that her was breached which is still none of the church's business.

One thing you fail to realise is that the moment that 100k entered the church , the church became the owner of the money & had the right to spend the money immediately. So they can tell you the money has been spent.

Look Bro, it's only on moral grounds the church can refund her.
She is legally not entitled to a refund.
